Just want the guy who can be involved in scoring the most to play, not the guy who just “doesn’t ever put us in a bad play”.

Agreed. I've watched his tape. Wouldn't be overly surprised to see him beatvoit Newman. Or at least get significant play time. In my unbiased opinion he is a 5 star talent. Ready to see if he performs well on Saturdays

No QB comes to UGA to sit. That said, Carson is not beating out our new transfer next year. He will have to compete vs the 5 star coming in next year unless someone gets injured. I like his game and I think he will do well but right now he’s looking at holding the clipboard against a guy that’s put up some numbers already.

The starter in 2020 will come out on top in the spring game. If a QB coming in in June is the starter we either struck gold or are in serious trouble.

I like the way he whips the ball, im not entirely sold on Newman being the starter but we'll see. Can Beck move his feet and buy time to make throws?

Yes. Lost a lot of his weapons and protection. Stats declined a good bit and he’s not much of a runner. He played in a really good high school league so losing all that help was detrimental to him and his team.

He also played on a bad team (no tradition of winning) which is what made 2018 so special and why he won Mr Football for the state of Florida.
2019 started rough, but the team improved week to week and his numbers recovered as this season went along.
