If you watched last game and came away satisfied with the secondary . I have a bridge to sell you.

Did I say I was satisfied with their performance vs Tennessee?

No I did not and no Georgia fan would.

But there is a difference between being a joke and having a bad day. But that seems lost on you.

I can’t recall a fast start since we had Bobo. Not saying we haven’t had one but that I can’t recall one.

Did I create the strawman?

Or did you?

This was your first post in this thread. This was the post which created the responses that you and I are still replying to.

Slow down. Breath. And follow the conversation. This is literally your fricking topic

If you call trailing 21-7 before the 2nd quarter, I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest that maybe "fast start." doesn't mean what you think it means.

Not same topic: strawman

2 touchdowns in 3 opening possessions

Not same topic: strawman

If we score 2 touchdowns every 3 possessions for the rest of the season, then I like our national championship chances.

Again at the point of beating a dead horse to no avail. We were down 21-7 at the end of the first quarter. No one in their right mind would call that getting off to a "fast start". Likewise scoring 2 touchdowns in 3 possessions while allowing the other team to score 3 touchdowns in 3 possessions isn't a "fast start" no matter how long of a time period you extrapolate the data out to. This should be self-evident....should.

Maybe we can agree to disagree as to what the 3 opening possessions of a game are.

I generally think that would be considered the start of the game.

But you do you, my man.

This is the definition of spazzing about the opponent having 50% more possessions than us and crying over the score at that time.

Congrats. Self-fulfilling prophecy? Or you spazzed in real time but were in denial?

Mature adult men don't spaz, cry, or engage in emotional hyperbole. It's self evident you don't know else you wouldn't engage in it. Just let it go and we'll agree to disagree as you suggested.

I agree with the spaz on this sentiment.

I really hope so. I fear this game may come down in large part to however well the opposite field corner across from Everette plays. I doubt they target him much since Tenn didn’t, so Harris or whomever is going to have to play focused and at least not give up a bunch of explosive passives

Three people on Youbute whose opinions on Georgia football I highly respect and count on – Coach Donnan, Brooks Austin and CollegeFootballNerd – all are really concerned about Georgia's secondary right now.

I want to convince myself that it will be like last year's Texas game in Austin where the defense just comes out and plays liights out and you say "damn, where has this defense been," but then I think that Jalon Walker and Mykel Williams were the two players who wrecked Texas' offense last year and they ain't here anymore.

At this point, I do not know what to think.

WTF is up with our D? I realize how secondary is bad but how did it get this bad? Last year was the O and this year the D. I really don't know how good our O is either.

Meh. Teams grow as the season moves on. This is a young team and the growth over the first 3 games is evident. They will continue to improve. I look for our D to play lights out Saturday. I will be shocked if they don't.

Yep. We did. Just like the fast start against Tennessee. I'm still not sold on them though. I guess to each his own.

Color me shocked. First Tennessee, now Alabama. Once is a chance. Twice is a trend. Good thing we got off to a fast start.
