I'm not sure about the payment and contract rules.

Can't the Braves just release the Upton brothers and Uggla? Would they have to eat the $35 million dollars?

Those guys are just worthless pieces of feces, and I doubt any other teams would waste money on those useless pieces of crap.

None of them can play baseball worth a crap.

If I was in the General Management of the Braves I would just release those losers, and bring up some minor league players.

I'd eat the money loss.

The minor leaguers couldn't be any worse than those useless losers.

I can't believe after their sorry performances last year that they are still on the team.

Everybody knows the only reason the Upton brothers were hired was because Jesse Jackson pressured the Braves into hiring African-American players.

It isn't because those lousy players belonged in the majors.

I think part of the trade-off of having a braves sticky is so we dont have to deal with 3 or 4 of these every night the braves frick up.

you are fricking dumb...Uggla is a pretty good second baseman and is already showed he can hit better this season and in the spring...

BJ is one of the best centerfielders in the game and when the Rays were hot a few years ago it was on his shoulders that they were riding...

you know nothing...players have slumps...agree that if BJ fails us this year at the plate he needs to go...Justin...he is useful...give it time...its the 7th game...

oh and...

Uggla and BJ should be cut for sure. Justin Upton isn't that much better.

All 3 are sub .300 hitters, closer to .250 than they are to .300. Uggla strikes out so much and sucks as a hitter. So what you might get lucky and hit 20+ homeruns, all the while batting .210, and 100+ strike outs, get the frick out of here.

BJ you suck just as bad but w/out the homerun production. Maybe you are better in the field than Uggla, but both of yall suck and shouldn't be paid what yall are getting paid. The Braves SHOULD cut them and take their losses. If not, we will have a repeat of last season, so hope you guys are ready for that.

None of these guys are going to hit for avg, maybe they might hit above avg in HRs, ((mainly uggla and Justin)), but it is still not worth it. I hated it when the Braves got the Uptons and Uggla has been a complete failure. I only watched 2 at bats of Ugglas and he was swinging for the fences every swing. Cut his sorry arse. One at bat he struck out in 3 pitches. frick him.

The braves need to get a new GM or somthing. D Lowe, D Uggla, UPtons, all these guys suck dick. We are payying them way way way way way too much money for them to be worse than avg. frick why do the Braves always do this?

Uggla might be ok defensively at 2nd, but can not hit worth a damn. His only good year was w/ the Marlins and it wasn't that great. He will never hit for avg, he will never not be a strike out power hitter.

Bj is not one of the best centerfielders in the game. Get your head out your arse, please!! He's good defensively, but not great. Offensively, well...what has he done w/ the Braves?

Bj is a sub .300 hitter that is closer to .250. Yeah that fricking great. Oh yeah, what was his stats for last year? How much did he make for doing that bull shite? oh yeah...stfu

BJ actually had a career average of .249 and 19 HR per year going into LAST year and I don't see him getting any better. He can't catch up to an above avg fastball which is a very, very bad sign for a MLB hitter. If you can't hit a fastball nothing else really matters.

Uggla is seeing the ball much better this year.
I think he capable of 25-30 HR and a .250+ average.Which is really all they need out of em

As a brave, Uggla is hitting .213 w/ 26 HRs and only getting 72 RBIs a year. Yeah thats not that good at all. He swings wildly, and seems to always just try to hit a HR w/ every swing.

How in the blue hell are you people still defending Dan Uggla?! He's been a complete disaster since he got here, with the exception of one 33 game hit streak 2 and a half years ago.

That could be said about the vast majority of the players in the MLB

Career .246 BA...point is I think he's a much better candidate to rebound from last year as opposed to BJ who I think is a complete lost cause.

Let's face it,beyond Freeman and Johnson NOBODY in this lineup is hitting.FG is gonna have to start mixing things up here in a couple of weeks if things don't change.

Yes,I'd think you'd be perfect candidate for the Braves GM job. Pretty sure you can go down and apply in person.
