Doesn’t change the lines of scrimmage. Miami is good in that area.

If you saw Miami wreck OSU’s o line last night and came away with Georgia is better off playing Miami…I’m not sure we’re watching the same game.
When it comes to interconference play, even at the end of the season, we don't have enough information to accurately assess and compare teams. Much easier to do within a single conference because they play each other all season long. For interconference games, we fall back on program perceptions. Even if two teams have already played head to head, we give a lot of weight to our perception of the respective programs.
Ohio State does not have a great resumé for this season. They've played a soft looking schedule and lost to the two best teams they faced, including Miami. Still, many, maybe most, cfb fans probably think that 2025 Ohio State would be a more formidable opponent than 2025 Miami. I lean that way too, despite what my eyes saw last night. But I recognize that it's a weak analysis based, in part, on my perceptions of team talent and recent program history.

In all 6 quarterfinal games to this point, the teams with byes have looked terribly out of sync on offense to start the game. That does not give me a warm fuzzy feeling about tonight.

It's why you can get rich quick, poor quicker.

Let's hope Kirby can reverse this trend. Out of all of the HCs, he's the one I'd trust most to make sure this doesn't happen to his team. We'll see how IU looks against Bama.

This trend doesn’t worry me at all.
Youd have to believe that losing your head coach, getting a new one, dealing with all of that distraction and drama, and then playing an exhibition game somehow gives Ole Miss an advantage
I would bet that Kirby’s practices are more of a challenge and test than playing Tulane. And hes managed the time gap successfully three times beating Oklahoma, Ohio State, and Michigan all after having almost a month off
Well break the trend if Indiana doesn’t

Right...Of all the match ups, OM v UGA is probably the most problematic because of the distraction inside the OM program right now.

If we play the same brand of football that we did against Bama we’ll be fine. Defense gets stops and we grind with the run game and convert 3rd downs. No need to go for the home run.
Squeeze OM into submission.

We scored on every single offensive possession last time around. Lets do that again but let our improved defense shut them down this time
Statement game. We are the bullies. Lets f’n go
