Our offensive line was the one that choked. Part of it can be Mims getting hurt, but the line has still gotten plenty of experience without Mims.

Saban on the SEC Network postgame said that he didn't think that they could stop our running game coming in. But then they did.

Nope. Bobo did fine. Our top 3 offensive weapons were dinged up and we had a crap call on Bamas 4th down. We lost by 3.

I agree. The run, run, throw was bad tonight. But the FG and funke ultimately cost us the game.

That last TD drive was Bama putting CJ Allen in conflict over and over.

They had decent success with it earlier in the game, and we didn't have a scheme response when it mattered most.

Bobo had nothing to do with that.
...

I think Georgia is better and we'd take maybe 7/10 if it were played back, but nobody wins forever. A couple of different bounces and a couple of different calls and we win, but it wasn't our night.

I'm ok with it.

Nah. Bama should have won in 21 but injuries happened to them. Georgia should have won tonight but injuries hurt us. It all evens out in the end.

The Defense failed us. It's been the same outcome as with how they performed against us Mizzo and GT. The Defense didn't show up when they were needed.

I’m concerned about the D-Line moving forward. I haven’t really seen any players to give me hope for next year. Hopefully they develop some young guys and we add a few in the portal.

You can’t blame the defense on this, we held them to 300 yards of total offense, and Milroe didn’t beat us with his legs. You can’t beat Bama only scoring 10 points thru 3 quarters. It was a great run but at the end Saban still has an edge on us and I’m not sure how we get past that.

Bobo got us in 3rd and short over and over.

He didn't get us out of 3rd and short over and over (we were one of the best third down conversion teams all year. 3rd and short is the key to successful conversion). The only thing we could have done better would be to avoid third down.

I'm looking forward to reviewing the film.
Did Bama do an amazing job prepping for our 3rd down?
Did our OL pee down the leg on third down?
Did Bobo do anything different on third down (doing the same thing could be a failure as Bama was obviously prepared)?

We got whooped offensively on 3rd down. And it was mostly 3rd and short.

We lost on the sack/false start pushing the field goal back and fumbled reverse exchange leading to 3.

Defense kept it close. Bullard tripping on that milroe run hurt too
But I hope logue, brinson, and stackhouse do not comeback at all.

The missed field goal and the fumble in deep negative territory is a 6 point swing.

And those are unforced errors. Not to be that fanbase, but we really did best ourselves yesterday. Bama played well no doubt, but that was far from our best effort unfortunately.

Lots of hit Dawgs showing their faces. It's hilarious: Kirby gives us the CFB run of a lifetime (and it's not even close to being over) and all of these big, bad Dawg fans tuck tail and run at the first sign of adversity.

Foxholes, and all of that shite.

Maybe it was our best effort matched with their best effort and a couple of mistakes mixed in.

Equal talent, lots of overlap between staffs...these games turn into chess matches. One mistake is, often, all it takes to get put into check.
