Saw on Twitter from the official Ga page that they may be teasing it. Anyone know for sure? And what are block numbers?

God I’d love that. I’ve never been a big fan of these bubbly ones. Too cartoonish.

It’s just the font - this is block
Whereas our current jerseys are much more rounded on the 2,3,5,8,9 and 0.

I definitely prefer block numbers. It could be because I am old and more used to the blocks. To me, they just look better aesthetically on jerseys.

Friend of a friend's kid is a student equipment manager and says the block numbers are back for the upcoming football season.
Wonder how Nike feels about that since they allegedly created the font we currently use across all sports. Supposed to be instantly recognizable as the "Georgia font".

yeah I'm not sure how this would work contractually. It was 2013 when we introduced that new font and you see it on every sports program we have. I don't particularly care for it but I've just grown to accept it. It would seem strange to completely scrap it and ditch it less than 10 years later. I wonder if maybe it'll only be the number on the jerseys but everything else will remain the same current font?

Thank God the black jersey is back to the standard look

Now that we won a championship and the dog collar is off of the black jersey’s, can we quit being so traditional and superstitious about busting the black unis out for 2 or 3 games?
