Aaron's 715th or when Sid slid? I vote for the latter because of the ramifications and the fact that I was in the center field seats right in front of 3 Pissburgh fans (actually they were pretty cool).

Paging Deeprig

Eta: I think part of the trade-off of having a braves sticky is so we dont have to deal with 3 or 4 of these every night the braves frick up.

its not a general braves info thread, its a thread on this season. the other braves post should go in there but this thread is fine.

to answer the OP, the 95 worlds series.

My initial thought after reading the title was the Sid slide. It was just such an exciting play.

The World Series win was huge, though. Tough to pick.

I was at both events...I'd say the Sid slide was bigger,

Never seen an end of the game celebration like that night and it lastend late into the night in the streets of Buckhead

Few other nominees:

-Justice HR in Game 6 vs Cleveland
-Andruw launching two moonshots in his first two World Series at bats off Andy Pettite in Yankee Stadium, a 12-1 Braves win
-Smoltz throwing a complete game shutout in Game 7 of 1991 NLCS at Pittsburgh to complete the worst to first season

It is the slide. All these others are huge moments, but the biggest one is the slide. That play alone made Sid one of my all time favorite Braves.

We walked to where our car was parked off of Spring St. After the game. Went through Underground, etc. My hands were sore the next day from high-fiving strangers. Never seen so many people downtown with the exception of the Oylmpics.

frick Hank Aaron. Lost all my respect after what he said yesterday. He's a fricking wingnut. I used to love him too.
