Anyone checking anything out? I'm going this afternoon, one of my best friends kid is in one of the bands playing on the Kids Stage with the Nuci's Space operation.
I'll probably eat some pizza at Ted's by the main stage and drink some Turd Monster beers. AKA tropicalia, for you newcomers that don't know the JD joke.
Last year all the bands sucked. I hope they have some better acts this year.

Make sure to try the new overly hopped “strain” from Turd Monster” named after weed culture while in disney world

They shut down the kids stage because of distant thunder, right as her band was setting up. fricking gay.

Right now I am sitting on the patio eating a pork chop sandwich. Delicious applesauce too. Might do a word puzzle later. Don't know yet.

I’d be more inclined to attend if they had a Turdmonster stage with dancing turds doing Vegas-style theatrics, like the Sam Rothstein dancers in Casino. They could throw full cans of turd beer into the crowd, with force. Only the prepared, resilient, and athletic need attend. Then they could play 3 hours of WSP covers while all the middle aged dads form the worlds slowest mosh pit in their turd shirts. Students would hve no idea what hedonism they’re missing out on while they work their summer internships at Goldman Sachs and Walt Disney World.

On the mainstage I saw Karma Kat and DangFly!.
Both were good. DangFly's front man is a large bearded burly man, but his vocals sound like a female. It's really weird. He sounds like Taylor Swift. You wouldn't think you'd hear that voice come out of that body.
Edit- the stuff I'm finding on YouTube isn't doing it justice. On Saturday, he was in a higher register and sounded just like a girl. Not in a bad way, but in an unexpected way.

Surprised dangfly is still playing. They were making rounds when I was in college and looked old then. Is the fella with the violin still playing? Never liked his vibe.

Suprisingly I've never been. It seems an odd time of the year. My mom is living in Athens so I'll probably go check it out some time.

I would think they would have it in spring when students are still in session. Still lot more students stay around for summer.
