Are the Atlanta Falcons a pretender?

I'm afraid they are.
They are just not tough enough to win the Super Bowl.
This week's game against the Giants could prove me wrong, but I don't think the Falcons are tough enough to beat the Giants.

I don't think they have what it takes to go very deep into the playoffs. But the current team is a lot more enjoyable to watch during the season.

I agree they will not win it all but based on Monday's game, neither will the Texans.

I'll give you a hypothetical. Maybe someone here can or will dispute it
Patriots - 56
Atlanta - 10

It's looking that way. Sunday will go along way in proving otherwise. Rise Up

Pretenders but very close to being for real

All I'm gonna say is it is football and ANYTHING can happen. There are no great teams in the league this year. The falcons have as good a shot as anyone.

Hope they dress out Gurshall for the next game.

If you get down to the lowly panthers 23-0...yeah your most likely a fraud

The Falcons are missing that power running game they once had.

I guess I'm a homer or maybe all those years going to games at atl Fulton co stadium and the dome brain damaged me. I believe they are 4 tough balls to the wall players from being the class of the NFC for years to come, but iI think they at least make it to the nfccg this year. We shouldn't have let Keith brooking go, not the best but good and a tough guy mentally. Where's the second coming g of Jessie toggle when you need it. Hell even a guy like Scott case to bring some swagger would be good IMHO.

Good move IMO. He was done. We don't need another old linebacker for a tight end to run past.

Matt Ryan is overated and has a weak arm. you guys know he picked bama over uga on gameday and he picked tech to beat fsu. :rolleyes.I like the falcons but just not a huge nfl fan. I think it will be the steelers and packers in the super bowl

i've thought the same thing about them after sunday that i have thought all year and all off season since NY
it's in their DNA. and that defense isn't getting anyone to the super bowl. but for what they have they've done a damn good job.

Great points to show how overrated he is.
If it weren't for Matt Ryan, this is a 7-6 team right now.

I don't think the Falcons are tough enough to even make it that far.

Why are they so many threads about them....I would love to see the falcons in the super bowl. oh yeah ryan threw 5 ints in one game...their is your points homeslice. The falcons will get knocked out of the first round...mark my words

So did Brees. Is he overrated too? Manning threw 3 INTs in the first quarter against Atlanta. Is he overrated?
Every QB has a bad game. It's all about consistency in the NFL. There are only about 5-6 QBs off the top of my head I'd take over Ryan right now; Brady, Rodgers, Eli, Peyton, Roethlisberger, and Brees.

Just shutup about the falcons geez. I know its you long lifetime dream for them to win the superbowl. but its not going to happen this year. Ryan is nothing but short of being great. Ive heard numerous NFL analylist question his arm strenth. I liked former falcon Chris Miller better than ryan
