Michigan defense is very physical and solid. We will have to play a near perfect offensive game.

And what did Bama think about our defense before they slashed us for 40+

Auburn lost Kerryon Johnson in the iron bowl.
Now I know bama lost metchie but I think the only chance we have if we beat Michigan is bama to lose Williams in the cincy game.

The only chance is if we can put pressure on Young. Bama has shown it don't matter whose playing wr, someone will step up.

But he played vs uga and his shoulder isn’t why he had nowhere to run.

His fumble is a contributing factor to why we won, it’s not the reason we won.

I mean, we won by 21. It’s not like it was close.

Healthier Pickens (less AD snaps); healthier Chris Smith and Nolan Smith; healthier Jamaree all make a huge difference (although I thought Jamaree played well).

Think we got cute trying to start William Poole in his first game ever. Also, Bama not having Metchie is massive.

Granted, we have to get past a good Michigan team first. I’m not trying to dismiss that game.

All of this

13 carries for 44 yards and a fumble.

Feel like you’ve been brainwashed by the Auburn fans who told you he didn’t play in that game

His 1st game was one of the most overrated, or irrelevant, performances of our life times, and he played in the 2nd game.

Wtffff did he go out early? He still was shite in that game. He wasn’t the same guy who we played two weeks prior.

It had nothing to do with who he was or wasn’t and everything to do with our front 7 flipping the script.

No, but because we got up early Auburn had to pass which limited his use.

Like others said Johnson was hurt for Auburn. Still I would expect us to play much better. On the other hand, maybe Bama is hitting their stride late-season. I just don't see any way we can stop their receivers.

Why repeat a poor point though?

Well Metchie being hurt is going to make it more plausible. Not that I wanted him to get injured at all, but you play the cards your dealt.

No chance in the rematch, Fromm needs to come out, Kirby’s overrated, etc.

Many thought we ran in to a buzz saw that night (including myself) and Auburn was gonna beat anyone in the country that night and obviously had a huge home field advantage with 6:00 start.

Kirby/Monken were too aggressive on offense vs Bama IMO and cannot use that philosophy vs Bama next time around especially if Bennett starts.
