the high tackling of Floyd and sometimes Jenkins? I know it's sometimes necessary if the QB is about to throw but I just know it's going to be a facemask call sooner or later (hands to the face call in college?)

The one where Floyd jumped was because he thought Stoudt was going to try and throw. He jumped to deflect it but Stoudt never threw it.

This is nitpicking. I'd rather them tackle QBs high so they can cause fumbles when they wrap up (see for example: Floyd's forced fumble)

I'm willing to live with the risk that they get a facemask at some point this year

Legit concern but when you think about what is necessary to effectively rush the passer, you want to get up high to possibly bat down a pass and then if he eats the ball you come down on top of him. Pretty much the nature of rushing a passer.

I'm ok with whatever approach they're taking. 5 sacks a game works for me

Floyd is going to belly flop a QB one of these days.
Just going to get too much air and come crashing down on an unsuspecting QB

Wrapping the QB up high is taught.

Also hitting a QB below the mid thigh is penalty this season.

Oh I don't care. It wouldn't bother me if they went in dry and didn't even take the QB out to dinner before hand.

I just know how the zebras have cursed us the past few years and I get weary.
