#1 thing I am excited about is we like what we have in the secondary, especially corner. I was worried about the safety position, but we may be able to make team one dimensional

Gunner has enough wiggle and physicality to consistently pick up a few yards on a busted or covered play. Teams like Florida had success against Beck last season when only rushing like 3-4 guys and dropping everyone back, so I am optimistic for a more balanced attack this year.

I think most teams tried to take away the run on early downs and put us in obvious passing situations. We started passing more in early downs to counter this. Why we ran the ball less. Definitely was not Kirby’s style.

This and you add in the less than UGA standard offensive line, and that equals lackluster play. A better O-Line can help solve a lot of our issues last year.

Agreed. My bet is Ellis Robinson will be starting before the FL game

From what I recall, there were a lot of injuries on the line last year, which pretty much was the same line as the year before, no?

When we finally turned the corner was when we could match OL and DL depth with Bama.

Now it is going to be more about who is healthy with the (quality) depth spreading around more.

I feel like we were in more passing downs and situations bc we were having to make comebacks in multiple games. Kent, Bama, Fla, Tech, Ole Miss, ND.

Would have been nice to have had been bigger leads going into the fourth quarter to give Stockton more playing time. He got thrown into the SEC championship game with very little playing time. Another reason I would like to see the offense be a little more aggressive so maybe Puglisi won’t get put in the same situation.
