Offense has always gotten the attention. Frustrating but it is what it is.

Our defense looks really fast and have good discipline. We just need the offense to get first downs. The rest will take care of itself. .

Quite possibly.
The defense gave up 10 on Saturday.
But they scored 9.
And that doesn't take into account the points put up by the offense due to field position earned by the defense and special teams.
That type of performance (give up 10 and score 9) should be noticed.

While I agree that offense sells tickets to the game and defense wins championships......in this era you have to score points because the game has morphed into a track meet i.e. basketball on grass.
