We need to be one of the last if not the last 1 loss team to make this happen. I would like to not have to face them again but the same applies to them, probably more.

I really just don't want to play the same team twice. Looks like there's a possibility of playing ND or Auburn / Alabama twice.

If two SEC teams win and rematch in the playoffs it will forever hold value in future CFP rankings. Everything is valued by a team’s reputation. Look at Ohio State. You receive credit and benefit of the doubt when you have been there and won a championship.

I think they have gotten the right 4 teams each year. Penn State had 2 losses last year then lost their bowl game. I guess TCU and Baylor can bitch about the 1st year but I think they have gotten it right so far.

Nightmare scenario for the NCAA....

Team who wins SECCG loses to the same team in the playoff championship game. Even worse if the SECCG is something like a 31-14 game and the championship is a 21-20 game.

That's a championship deserving of an asterisk.
