Honestly every time he gets in he messes up something. First game he gets a false start. This game he had an opportunity at a touchdown but didn’t get his head turned around.

I mean, I don't think it's really that complicated. He's either 3 or 4 on the depth chart, certainly behind Bowers and Washington. How often does your third string TE see significant action when it means taking snaps away from guys as good as our first two?

Is there any truth to the fact Arik Gilbert was in a car accident the week of Oregon game? Might’ve missed some meaningful practice reps. He will get his chance if he proves he deserves it in practice.

he was in an accident at the corner of baxter and lumpkin, there's pics documented all over of his car being all jacked up. Nobody was hurt though.

It's really sad how some LSU fans act when it comes to Gilbert. There was a thread a few weeks back where they were committed to tearing him down no matter what, and essentially showed that they care more about players helping them win than they do about them as humans.
What actually happened last year with him was a massive nothing burger, when compared to the BS the tiger rant tards have been spreading.

they really are a pretty shitty fanbase overall, at least as far as the internet goes. IRL they're great from my experiences but the tiger rant people are just awful. Any thing, person, thought, idea, recruit, coach, you name it...that isn't effusively glowing in praise for LSu, is wrong and must be torn down at all costs.
