High ankle sprain gonna keep him out. Graham Coffey is a quasi insider. Usually has pretty good sources.

high ankle sprains can linger and be a PITA. If it's questionable I'd rather just sit him unless theres disaster. Let him sit for Kent st too if needed and have him return for missouri

Get him the tight rope Tua had done.

Gamecocks confirm 2 defensive starters are done for the season with injuries

Both are out with ACL injuries.
I hate that because I like going against teams who are at full strength.

Spoiler alert: by the time you get 2-3 weeks in, nobody ever is. It’s called football.

Injuries suck, but this game chews up rosters like the ticket muncher at Chuck-E-Cheese’s

I wish there was a magic pill to prevent ACL injuries. These kids work too hard to have to deal with this.

High ankle sprains are slow to heal and very painful. I would be shocked if he only misses one game unless it is a very, very mild sprain. I'm glad it is not something more serious, though.

It’s a good stretch of games for some of the younger talent to step up.

Bell has looked good so far, maybe he can get more reps this weekend.

Still curious as to why Gilbert has only seen mop-up time.

Rosemy and Blaylock were both top 10 WRs in their respective classes. Are they ever going to get back into form?

Absolutely. Perfect time to get the young'uns some experience. Tougher part of the schedule comes the second half.

Didn't Blaylock catch his first pass this weekend?

Next man up. I hope he's back sooner than later, but with our TEs + new kids on campus, I think we'll be fine.

Me too. I did notice that on Saturday after every time Arik came off the field Kirby would talk to him personally. I expected it when he false started on that 4th and 2, but after that Kirby was speaking to him every time he came off. It wasn’t what I expected when he had the false start, Kirby was very calm and collected when speaking to him. I think Kirby is trying to build him up..

Earlier, Kirby said he could have gone back in if needed.

Still making penance for threatening to kill Kirby last year?
