Don't get old, man. Life gets tougher and tougher! Sorry! I fixed it, by the way. yes. That is what I meant to say.

Don't forget in 2007 we lost to bad SC and TN teams that arguably kept us out of the national championship picture.

This was with what I think most would agree was one of the best CMR teams ever.

Again, not trying to beat a dead horse but the inability of some of you guys to see how CMR has a problem getting our teams ready to play consistent football every year is baffling to me.

I hope not! I hope we can all be celebrating a victory and put to bed he can't win a big game. but, if we DO win, I am sure some will say SouCar is in a down year and this wasn't a big game. Seems to be the rationality of many on here. not talking about you...normally we agree on many topics you post on. I just took offense at you insinuating I was an idiot for holding Dooley up as a measuring stick. I think he is a VERY good measuring stick. But we all have our own opinions. I guess, I just feel like Richt does produce. We have teams that compete every year. I have seen too many fan bases scream for their coaches heads, only to get a worse coach than they had before.

Did you realize that on a list of the top 50 coaches of all time that Dooley is ranked #27? Now that is college football coaches OF ALL TIME. But, apparently he is good enough for you, either.

First of all the man didn't have to be a head coach during the information age of ESPN and the WWW. After a lackluster season in '79 he was on the hot seat. He should thank his lucky stars that Herschel Walker decided to drive that Trans Am on up to Athens. Dooley had 13 seasons of 5,6, or 7 wins. 2 years with 8. 4 years with 9. 7 years with 10 plus, 3 or which were with #34 in the backfield.

If Dooley were head coach today, how many of you would take 13 seasons of mediocre football?

I understand your frustration, but I am equally amazed that people cannot see that we have one of the best coaches in the entire country and want him fired. Seriously. The SEC is THE toughest conference in the country and year in and year out we compete for the championship and are ranked in the top 10-15.

Oh, but that dead horse has been beaten to death again... One thing that people are not taking into consideration is that in this day and age is that CFB players mostly have one goal in mind - NFL. That said, think back to last year's D, who many (including current players) have said that were more worried about their own status than the team. You may very well be correct, but when picking these kids, one can only go by stars, so to speak, and not mindset. CMR may very well have that problem, but on the other hand, many of those don't care about anything else (Stafford, for example)...
That is an issue that isn't readily solved here.

You won't hear me say that and I'm 110% Negadawg.

If we win it will be a huge victory.

If that is the case, then why do you claim to be a Dawg fan?

Win or lose...I just want to see our guys show up Saturday ready to play and look prepared, our coaches to call plays that make sense (aka keep doing what works, stop doing what doesn't), and to make adjustments based on what's happening on the field.

If they do that, I bet just about everyone will be satisified whether we win or lose. That is all.

And I guarantee you you'd be wrong. I don't care if we win Saturday 35-10, there would be people on here complaining that we gave up 10, didn't score 42, and the lines for the bathroom were too long.

Some people are just born to complain, and unfortunately a lot of those people become Georgia fans for some reason.

Most people kept their heads after the SECCG because we gave everything we had....people still tell me that's one of the best games they every watched. We left it all on the field...

...well, except for the spike vs. pass debate...

It's crap like USCe last year that gets everyone riled up.

Agreed! And hopefully we run the table! Odds are against it, but it can be done, then maybe we can get rid of these threads!

I understand what you are saying, and I was frustrated by some of the playcalling, too. But, when you look at the yards put up and AVG per rush, etc, we DID do what is successful.....not always, but most of the time. You can't do ONLY what you do well at, or the other team makes adjustments and stops you...that said, I would have liked to have seen more runs to the outside. I am guessing the way Clemson was beating our tackles, Bobo didn't feel like we could consistently make the corners. Just a guess, though. I don't know what he saw up in the coaches box.

They scream every time they lose a game?

Are you saying I am wrong because you could come up with one? I guess technically you are right, because I DID say "I don't see any other fan bases..." I gotta be more careful about how I word stuff!

I'm not new been here for awhile. Just don't much to say. Dismiss all you want but I'm right. 8-18 vs Top 25 Teams is horrible. Richt is a good coach not great. We always lose the Big Game. Longest-Tenure coach in the SEC and no rings to show for it. Saban has 4, Miles has 1, Chizik got 1, Meyer got 2. I'm tired of my team being mediocre. Numbers don't lie
