I remember that but haven’t seen/read anything about it either. Maybe that’s another factor?

I wonder how much it cost to reel in a *** these days.

He’s a shade under the 6-foot-2 mark, but he’s been measured with an 82-inch wingspan. That extreme length allows him to play bigger as if he had a 6-foot-5 frame in the middle for the Rams.

I always thought that a 6-foot-1 300 pounder with a 6-foot-10 winspan would make an incredible offensive guard. One day short offensive guards with long arse arms will become a thing in college football.

Kirby will have to change his NIL concept to lock in talent. Guess we need to start getting ready to dig into our pockets to donate if we wanna win it all again

It really is true. Even just the sheer lack of buzz around us is crazy. And again I trust our talent evaluation but I also wonder if we are just looking for bargains. There hasn’t been rumor of even 4 stars and us in a while. It’s shocking how it feels from a time where we had everyone to now I don’t even know what we target. The top kickers still it seems

Saw this

Georgia is set to host only nine official visitors over the next month who are ranked among the nation’s Top 100 recruits. It will host five of those prospects this weekend. That stat best illustrates that times are changing for the program in the NIL and rev share era. Did the Dawgs ever sign all the 5-stars? No. Did they get the ones they really liked on campus? Yes.

Winning another NC in the Wild West era of NIL and portal isn’t worth a penny to me. I will never donate to pay college players. I am a former long time season ticket holder, have travelled to every SEC stadium except A&M going back 30 years, have spent a considerable amount on old memorabilia like 1940s and 50s gameday programs and have a closet full of UGA clothes/hats going back 15 years or longer.

But I don’t t care much anymore whether we win another NC with the way things have changed. I am surprised people part with any amount of money for players. Don’t see what the gain is for that donating individual that makes it make sense.

This post seems like a waste of time and effort for something you don’t care about.

After reading that, this is officially easily the most concerned about recruiting I've been since Kirby's been here. The amount of bargain shopping we're doing this early in the recruiting season couldn't be great. It's like the staff decided that we had enough money in the budget for one offensive lineman we really liked, and after that it was time to go bargain shopping.

We are about to go portal forward. Kirby is tired of the HS nil shite, we will recruit players who have proven themselves in college.

I've felt like this is what's going on starting this year's recruiting class. Recruit good, solid, inexpensive high school players whose abilities can be enhanced and also buy into the culture. Then, study up on existing prospects during the 2026 season at other schools and poach the hell out of them with the money saved.

I've been following Georgia recruiting closely, to the point that I've wasted a lot of time and productivity in my life, for more than 30 years and I'm not just making this shite up as I go along. You can spare me the memes or gifs or whatever it's called.

Nah, I don’t think I will. You’re worrying about things you shouldn’t worry about. We’ve taken more diamonds in the rough and turned them into draft picks.
