A couple of Georgia outlets reporting that we're in the mix. Raiola ended up at Oregon, so this kid hit the door.

If we are in the mix does this mean pug is on his way out? Don't see a QB coming in and sitting 2-3 years

Unclear. Kentucky is supposed to be the other serious contender for the Oregon transfer.

I think all of the quarterbacks should really hedge their bets by staying put in Athens given the fact that if our offensive line doesn't get better they're going to get poor Gunner killed.

Gunner seems to live by Maxim 35: That which does not kill me has made a tactical error.

How bout all the blue check handles on X saying we're closing in on an offensive portal target. Any smoke, assuming it's not the Oregon QB.

He must not be very good if he's scared of competing with Raiola...

Just a general transfer note. Of all the guys that left a grand total of 3 players actually went to possible playoff teams. Kelly went to Ohio state. Aguero went to ole miss. Jordan Thomas went to South Carolina. And I’m being nice calling 26 ole miss and South Carolina possible playoff teams. My point is a lot of our fanbase panics when we lose guys but that vast majority go to schools that are not in our league both SEC wise and championship caliber wise.

Like Rod Rob. Ohhh we can’t lose him. Well he ended up at UAB. If he was so unlosable why didn’t he end up somewhere better? Ondre Evans went to NC state. Good program but not our level. The rest ended up at Colorado, Kansas, etc. the depth would’ve been nice but it gets tiresome when fans act like every guy who exits is just a year away from being an all American. Possibly. But most of the time that’s not the case.

^^^ Excellent life lesson for the remaining players on our roster that the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Our leading returning wide receiver had 18 catches for 278 yards this season and our second returning wide receiver had 8 catches for 70 yards. Unless you think that Isiah Canion is Julio Jones, OP was making a valid point and there's reason not to be super optimistic. No need to be smartallicky.

I made a statement about Georgia using all of its weapons and he's the one that jumped in with a smart-alecky response. "What weapons do we have?"

If you and troll4Life haven't noticed, every team has high turnover. Every team has positions that end up reloading and rebuilding. In 2021, our top 4 receivers were 3 freshmen and a sophomore. Talented young players will be our weapons next year, same as every year at one position or another. Acting like Georgia football suddenly has no weapons isn't a valid point, it's trolling because that's what he does.

I'm looking forward to seeing some talented young players get coached up by Georgia's top notch coaching staff. Meanwhile you can spend this offseason like the last one: dumping all over Georgia's roster and coaching. Was 12-2 and an SEC title about what you had in mind? Two losses by a grand total of one touchdown?

How are you and your brother feeling about Heupel? Are you guys "super optimistic"? Campaigned hard to keep those Vandy/Kentucky cupcake "rivalries" and then gets run off the field at Neyland stadium. And loses to Illinois in some no-talent bowl game? Now that was an embarrassing season. But, it's Tennessee and it's the offseason so I'm sure you're excited about their weapons, eh?

But, yeah, go ahead and give us all the reasons Georgia fans shouldn't be optimistic for 2026. You and your buddies will get it right eventually, because stopped clocks always do.
