Because in baseball, one single game doesn’t matter. UCLA has the better resume and just won the series vs Oregon. Tech lost the series vs UNC

Ugh. Matched us with the Miss State Regional. Which means if chalk holds, we’ve got to play at least 2 more games vs MSU after playing them in 4 already

Would’ve rather had Nebraska, Kansas or WVU. Hate facing a team that has already seen us 4 times again in a high stakes situation

They have an elite pitcher which in a best of three setting is huge. I guess there weren't a lot of other great options but I really hate this matchup considering that, plus as everyone else has said we don't really have anything else to prove against those guys. Maybe Lady luck will provide for us and we'll get ull instead

So apparently we wanted the afternoon game on Friday, TV told us we had to play at night. Auburn wanted the night game, TV told them they had to play in the afternoon.
ESPN is shite.
Ultimately shouldn’t matter so long as weather doesn’t push back games, but we went through this pre Covid when all of sudden we found ourselves playing a Saturday double header vs a rested 2 seed that evening.
