SC Upstate ain’t no joke. If we had some of their pitchers, we’d be pretty tough to beat.

My dad was a CSM over at fort Jackson and i would go to Spartanburg a lot those boys could play for sure

Looking around the scoreboard man there were some upsets.
Wake, UF, OreState, Southern Miss, Ole Miss, UCI, Oregon all lost. In addition to some lesser "upsets" like bama, TCU, Kansas, et al losing.

Vandy also could have/should have lost if not for Wright States coach pulling their pitcher who was throwing a no hitter through 6 at only 70 pitches

Saw on Twitter that Okie State tried to save their best arm for the winners bracket and had it back fire.
One of the studio shows has me worried about Duke. Lots of lefty arms, take a bunch of walks, and hit homers.

They didn't pitch him again today either. Not that we should be scared, but if duke gets us tonight I'm not super wild about facing their stud in an elimination game with the season on the line.

Pretty big stakes tonight for that reason. Win and we could be facing an OK State team tomorrow with all of its bullets fired on the mound.

Duke not having a problem with Curleys velo so far

We just struggle against good pitchers period, we can hit mediocre lefties just fine. But Witherspoon owned us and he’s a righty. We just don’t approach good pitchers well
