Probably should have typed BPA... Best Available Player/Player Available... Interestingly it could still be " Bah", who we've stayed in touch with apparently.
Sorry for showing my ignorance. Unfortunately I wouldn't have known what BPA meant, either.

DOH!

Well this doesn’t suck.
Bear, mykel Williams, shemar and Kamari Wilson all in town for Arkansas. Coupled with the improved trajectory with Christian Miller too. Sooo…impossible to get them all, but maybe Kirby will stun everyone again. It’s silly to bet against him at this point

Not impossible but yes...improbably. However, if we can show out against Arkansas it would probably help at least a little bit.

Would be pretty surprised if we didn't end up with at *least* 3/5 of those.
Miller, Wilson, Williams, Shemar, Bear in order of decreasing likelihood.

Never doubt CKS. Muschamp is an awesome defensive recruiter as well. This weekend we can get the Kirb-Train rolling again.

Kayin Lee has committed to the good guys. Another solid get and another Cedar Grove kid.

We’re down to number 2 for 2023. Oklahoma has three five stars from the same high school.
Posted on 9/29/21 at 5:55 pm to Rex Feral
I saw that. How does one high school have 3 5-stars playing for it?

So this is the possible next 6-7 seasons?
21-22: JT Daniels
22-23: JT Daniels or BVG
23-24: BVG
24-25: BVG or Gunner Stockton
25-26: Gunner Stockton
26-27: Gunner Stockton or Arch Manning
27-28: Arch Manning
Sounds like a great set of problems to have.

A couple of Dawg commits with 247 recruiting bumps.
Darris Smith, a big-framed, athletic edge defender from Baxley (Ga.) Appling County, has been firmly on 247Sports' radar since last fall as a likely "high upside" prospect given his physical tools. The Georgia pledge has added valuable mass and retained, if not improved, his functional athleticism, resulting in a forceful defensive presence with the twitch to rush the passer and the strength to disengage and pursue the ball. He can turn the corner and run the arc, and his layered on-field context includes snaps as a big outside receiver. Smith moves from a high three-star 89 to a four-star 90 rating on 247Sports and certainly finds himself in Top247 consideration with the next update arriving in October.
"If Carlton Madden had played a full junior season, he likely would have already earned a four-star grade next to his name on 247Sports. But that wasn’t the case as he had to sit out varsity competition due to Georgia High School Association transfer rules. We liked what we saw out of Madden this spring on the camp circuit and are even bigger fans of him after seeing what he has done over the past few weeks for Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove. The front-seven defender has lined up primarily at middle linebacker for the Saints and made plays all over the field, including this past Friday, when he had a pick-six against Atlanta Carver. He moves up from a high three-star 88 to a four-star 90 rating on Top247 watch and will have a chance to push into that list as we gather more information." -- Andrew Ivins, 247Sports Southeast analyst

Do you really thing JT is sticking around for two more years?

And, I put “or” in there for a reason. So obviously I’m not sure if JT stays or comes back for next season.

I don't see Arch waiting 3 years to start at GA.

My bad. I misread the dates.
Id like to see BVG get some more meaningful snaps so he has some experience for next year. I’m guessing we’re going with Beck since he’s been in the system longer, but BVG needs more reps

I hope we don’t end up with another Fromm/Eason/Fields situation because JT decides to come back. Not that it’s exactly the same, obviously, but just that I think it screwed up our QB pool and trajectory, and we ended up with transfers that hurt and were forced to hit the transfer portal, which didn’t workout, and then ultimately start a 160 lb midget walk-on.
Hopefully BVG and Gunner stick around, or at the very least Arch does commit and we have no gap in quality QB depth anywhere in between.

Sorry, but I don't get this line of thinking. If Daniels is good enough to win a National Championship I hope he comes back. If he is not then we need to cool our heels this year.
Why would we hope a QB that is good enough to win a title did not come back? So we can get the flavor of the month kid that may or may not pan out?
If a kid has not played on the college level there s no guarantee that he will do well. I think I want to player that gives us the best chance to win a title, I don't care if he is a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior and who is on the depth chart behind him.

Where did I say I hope JT doesn’t come back?
I clearly said I hope we don’t have a Fromm/Eason/Fields situation if he does.
Obviously that would only mean I’m worried about guys like BVG and Stockton transferring away.
Whats with you folks not comprehending shite today?
