I meant our board as well. He’s no higher than 4th on Kirby’s big board.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought we’re talking DL in general. UGA will probably sign 4 DL regardless of specific position. Also correct me if I’m wrong but 0 technique is a NT, not a DT or DE.

Back to DL in general, Bear will be a NT, West and Williams will be DE/DT. And yes, the other board says we feel pretty good about Williams. Miller may be next on Kirby’s board but that’s not what I’ve read elsewhere. Now, the source doesn’t actually get to see Kirby’s board but he’s been right more often than not.

You mean as far as the others know he is 4th. Nobody can know for sure, of course. Did you catch the names of the ones ahead of him? I am curious.

I was talking DT, personally. I mean they are vastly different than DE, OLB.

NT and DT are similar. A DT is a little lighter. I mean when you run a 3-4 you basically have a NT and two DE. Sometimes you would get a lighter DT in there if he can move and play him as an end, but typically when I am talk DT I am talking about a NT as well....just a DT that is heavier to clog up the middle.

I guess we should have clarified exactly what we were talking about when we first started talking.

Anyway, if we are taking 4 DT/NT types, then that would leave two. My guess is it would be Mykel Williams and Miller. but if you are talking about 4 DLinemen total, then we are probably talking about WDE and SDE as opposed to NT types.

Miller will end up in the NT category. He is 6'5" and weighs 285 now and can easily put another 20-25 LBS on. Williams will slide out to more of an end position at 255LBS, while West will probably be more of a DT.

Anyway. Maybe they are right and we are in it more for Williams than I thought. Don't get me wrong. I am aware that we would love to have him. I was just understanding that there was another team or two on his list. I want to say Alabama and Clemson, but I could be off base there.

I've seen multiple boards who say Mykel Williams will be a Dawg. Americus's board and Field Street Forum are just two of them.

Like I said, I could be wrong. It's been known to happen. Just ask my wife.

And, trust me, I hope I am wrong and y'all are right.

No names mentioned. What was posted is what I said earlier “if UGA wants Miller they probably get him but there may be others higher on their board.” 2 DL are already committed and they supposedly feel good about Williams. That only leaves one spot for Miller or those who may be higher on UGA big board.

Hopefully your sources are correct, and mine are wrong.

Dreshun Miller one of WVa' best DBs just entered the portal. Maybe he's following our new DB corch Addae. He he was a LSU commit in '18 prior to signing with WV in '19. Must be a player. LSU traditionally goes after solid DBs.

Other board says he wasn't very fond of Addae so that's not a drawing card. Sounds like AU will be the choice.

One of the most asked questions asked by people is :
How many players will we take at each position. I am taking this from the newsletter. (I should also say that the newsletter took this information from Jake Rowe) I will put how many players we expect to take then slash the number we have committed right now.

QB 1/1
RB 1or2 /0
WR 2+/0
TE 1/0 (Said if we get the right one. Otherwise zero)
OT 1or2 /0
Interior OL 2/0

DE 1or2 /0
Interior DL 2+/2
OLB 2+/2
ILB 2+/1
CB 2+/2
S 1or2 /0

Keep in mind that these numbers are guesses and will be fluid. We could take more or less than what these say, but these are rough estimates. Get a highly rated player at a position that is filled and we would probably take the kid and adjust at another position.

I didn't cut and paste, but I did copy it word for word. That's why I gave credit to the source, and thought it best to also give credit to the original source material.

I don't have "sources", so I get most of my information from the newsletter, other boards and talking to other fans from various fan bases. I realize a lot of people on this board get the newsletter, but we also have people that just casually follow recruiting, so I posted it here for their benefit.

Btw, I was just teasing you, and meant no harm.

I wish I were smart enough to do the research and do all the figuring out about what our needs are, etc. But I am eternally grateful for the newsletter and people on here who reward my laziness with the information.

I have long thought about looking at the newsletter and bringing the interesting information here to help those who do no get the newsletter or don't have the time to read through it.

I am just not sure how it would be received and don't want to offend anyone, or mislead anybody into thinking I am smarter than I really am.

Unless somebody comes in here and objects I think I will bring it here from time to time, then.
