I don’t like that he’s injured obviously, but it makes me feel way better about the decision to pull him.

Well, the good news tonight is that Liam Sullivan started his first ever game in college on the road against the #1 team in the country.
His stay line went 6 full, 3 hits, 1 run, 1 BB, and 11 K.
Absolutely filthy.
Bad news is we have stranded 7 runners on 8 hits through 7 innings and are still scoreless in a 1-0 game.
At this point all I can do is laugh.

Don’t worry, Jack Gowen just came in in the 7th to throw 8 balls on 9 pitches.
Any hope of a late breakthrough and vindication for Sully’s performance are about to be squandered by our frickstick bullpen, as if a limp dicked offense wasn’t bad enough on its own.
