Gonna need another QB. All focus has been on Stroud up until today, so we'll see if some names pop up soon.

And possibly a TE. Using spots every year on grad transfers really handicaps your future. Shouldn't be used unless it's a necessity.

Definitely a TE, maybe another receiver? I don’t understand the need for a QB unless it’s a clear backup. Everyone know Fromm is the QB.

Nah it makes sense and I reckon we only really go after a Kostello if Fromm plans to leave. Just hope that decision is announced to at least Kirby and staff in time to get a guy with experience out of the portal.

We need QB depth going forward.

Someone to compete with Beck? That does make sense, but it would need to be someone with multiple years left. That excludes King and Costello.

I guess I should clarify that I want Kostello if we know Fromm is gone. I can’t imagine him, a Brice, or King coming if Fromm is back. Not that I’d complain especially if they have an extra year of eligibility

You’re gonna want someone in case Beck isn’t ready or isn’t the guy

Gonna be 12 on scholarship next year already, unless someone transfers.

Agreed but then it would have to be someone with multiple years left. If it’s a guy with multiple years left I’m all for it.

It's a waste of an official counter, unless that transfer is gonna be a big time contributor. Trading 3-5 years developing a prospect over a 1 year grad transfer. They cherish those 25 spots. Wolf and Cager were a necessity. Only had 9 receivers on scholarship at reciever after NSD last year. Cager and Wolf count against this class.... and they're gone.

Can we start taking donations from Rant members to help pay to move Landers to college of his choice???

Nah I get it. Idk who is available or will be who wouldn’t be a grad transfer but that’s possible. And Lambert was a grad transfer and had 2 years remaining, right? That’s what got me thinking but I don’t think a King or Costello has but 1 year. I do think Brice has 2 years left but I may be wrong.

Maybe. There's been discussion, this year and last, of players signing during ESD but not announcing that fact until some all star game. My point is that if players do sign during ESD, then they should have to tell other teams that they've already signed. Maybe they do, I've just never seen anybody acknowledge that's how it works.

I still dont think we are on the same page.
Ringo has hinted that the paperwork has been signed. No?

If a coach doesnt have the LOI on their fax, dont they know what is happening? Why do they need a verbal confirmation that they have nothing on the fax?
