If we do move on from Crean, I'd love to get Fran McCaffery from Iowa. His teams are good with good offense and they're well coached, but they look like they're running in mud against teams like Oregon, who knocked them out of the tournament. Iowa pays him $2.2M. We pay Crean $3.2M.

I'd go after abiliene christians coach. He's built that program up from scratch and preaches defense.
Or someone like Oats who is a 3 or layup guy on offense. That's the future of the sport unfortunately.
I don't see Mccaffrey connecting with the target players around metro atlanta lol but it is sad that we pay Crean a million more than iowa pays him.

If he hasn't been fired yet, I'd be surprised if he does now. Probably going to be hard pitching a buyout to boosters who are probably indifferent to basketball at this point. They finally opened up their checkbooks for basketball and it blew up in their face.

Right, but why? It can't be just because the team sucks, and it definitely isn't a style of play issue. Otherwise, Fox would have been losing guys every offseason.
