I heard something similar saying UGA had Clark higher on the board. But aren't we talking 3 DT's?

Judging by our recruiting and how many good DT's are spurning us; we might be mining for 3 star diamonds before it's all said and done. We are not doing well on the line. Been one of the bigger eye sores of our great recruiting is the lack of DL prospects that are considered blue chip. Really hope we don't strike out on Walker.

That said, Tyler Clark looked like a beast so we should be fine this year.

The rumor with Humphries is that we think he'll end up as a guard so we basically stopped recruiting him. Losing Clark definitely sucks, hopefully we get him on campus during the season and he'll come to his senses.

I think he is saying it is easier to put up points with shorter drives rather than grinding the ball down the field with long drives. They had a special teams TD, and two short drives, with only one long drive. That was his explanation with how SC put up so many points against a very good DL.

Are yo saying he was going to be moved to the offensive side of the football?

That we don’t see him as a DL on the next level.

A lot of people think he'll end up on the OL, our staff apparently came to the same conclusion and that's why we stopped recruiting him.

That would be the idea. Rusty Mansell also doesn’t think he’s a DT

You asked how so I told you how. They scored 14 of those points on 13 total offensive yards.

Yea,I get the WAY they scored.I'm referring to SC's somewhat average offense being able to put up that many points (big plays or not) vs a defense that put 5 guys in the NFL amd I know that Deebo played in the game.

Maybe their secondary just completely sucked even with
arguably the best pass rusher in CFB

I’m not at all worried... Kirby will get what he wants. I’m not even going to attempt to go down that road with anyone. I learned my lesson...

And a lot of you are forgetting about Brenton Cox... yes he plays for us. Our D-Line will be just fine.

Walker and Rambo will be our DL gems, after that anyone added to the 4 star range is a huge bonus.

A DL class with Norton, Walker, and Hunter would be a-okay with me, we just need to add a true 0- tech, too.

At least initially. Good chance he's a hybrid DE/OLB for us by year 2... or even full time DE depending on body evolution.

Correct. Cox will be a flex guy this year. Heavy OLB. See him growing into a Ledbetter type role. Size and strength at the 5 tech to hold up against the run with speed and fluidity to rush the passer

true 0- tech

Looks like we're going to have to wait until 2020 for a big time true O- tech in Jamil Burroughs 6'3 320. Unlike what everyone was predicting for 2018 which is looking blah at DT, 2020 looks to be the year for DT with Stackhouse already committed. Some people would say Rashad Cheney committed a year early also. The difference is Kirby gonna fight to keep this 6'5 290 DT. 2020 looks promising.
