Diaz does seem like the lazy hire, people seem to forget he flamed out at Texas and Miss St. Why on earth they didn't at least try and get Tosh Lupoi is beyond me. Oh well, I guess another 3-4 years of Miami mediocrity.

I guess this eliminates Haselwood from the fold?

Does anyone think the Oklahoma semi-blowout shows him UGA would be better?

He has most likely already signed with OU.

That was an update, almost verbatim, from the 247 Miami writer. Contradicts Kipp Adams Nique article a few weeks ago, but like you said, who knows with recruiting.

Was thinking that as well. I take some satisfaction knowing our program is better and now Haselwood knows that. They really weren't even effective throwing the ball against BAMA anyway. Not as successful as we were.

Oh well, he'll have fun running around on those BIG XII defenses.

That’s a funny update.

Eh... is he though? He's struggled and been run out of numerous places.

Big news regarding Haselwood. Says he has not submitted an LOI to anybody, just financial aid paperwork to UGA, OU, UTk, and FSU. Could be trying to keep the suspense going into his decision, but hopefully this is true.

Big News indeed, looks like he backed off his initial plan.

Stevenson has signed his LOI.

It's not showing that he has signed, and we just got a CB for him. Where did you see that he signed his LOI?

On another note, Haselwood CB's coming in for Oklahoma, which doesn't really surprise me.

Who's going to be OU's QB next year?

They signed the #1 QB in the country in Spencer Rattler. Hearing rumors they might go after another transfer to keep the seat warm for Rattler, too. Hurts, maybe? Could be a good fit.

ETA
They also have Austin Kendall, a RS Sophomore, but he isn't going to be anywhere near the talent they have had at QB, imo.

Still believe he has signed and submitted LOI for Oklahoma.

Haselwood is gone - not even the UGA mods are sugar coating that one.

Stevenson signed the LOI and asked the recipient not to publish it until he announces at All Star game. None of the sites know and if they do they’re not going to say

Maybe it's me being a homer, but I'm feeling like he's keeping it all a secret so he doesn't have to disappoint his friends and family in Miami and then he can just escape to UGA.

We have some authorative posters here, hope it isn’t just their opinions and there is actual basis.

Can someone name a couple of targets I should pay closer attention to if we aren’t getting Hwood or Stevenson?

He would be a great get, but I am more focused on Tyrique Stevenson. He is more important to me than Haselwood, in my opinion.

Not sure we will go after another WR. We will just put Tongue at WR.

People we are still going after strongly:

Nick Cross (S Commit to FSU)
Darenll Wright (OT probably going to Tennessee)
Doug Nester (OG commit OSU)
Akeem Dent (CB Commit to FSU)
Kaiir Elam (CB probably going to Florida)

I'm sure there are others that I can't think of, or don't know about.

We are out for Nick Cross. He's either FSU or Maryland
We aren't actively recruiting Dent, haven't for a while. We're a hat on a table for him.
Elam is still very much in play, depending on our DC hire.
George Pickens is still an option at WR if he can get qualified.
