That's silly, because they are in it until they actually sign on the dotted line. Even a commitment doesn't mean much nowadays.

Rumors of a Luke Ford transfer are swirling on DN's forum. Word is he is not attending bowl practices and home, in IL, for holidays. The below picture was posted as well. I posted some rumblings i heard on twitter of this last week, but it looks as if it may come to fruition. Anyone heard anything on this?

He hasn't officially decided yet but it is a real possibility that he does. Only reason being pointed to for this is him being homesick, so hopefully he is talked out of it. It also sounds like Nauta is going pro, so assuming that's true and Ford transfers, I think we'd have to add another TE in this class.

Wasn't there an Auburn TE looking to transfer, and one of the schools he was interested in was UGA.

That would hurt our ranking. Yes, that's a joke.

Ford will be back for bowl prep week.

There is a Juco tight end that we will offer if we need depth. Auburn grad transfer is a possibility as well.

The younger Fromm isn’t a tight end in our system and isn’t athletic enough to warrant a WR spot.

Believe it or don't, doesn't matter to me. They are both Dawgs. Sanders is actively recruiting Neal to come play with him and Nolan at UGA.

Did all that come to you in a dream or do you have a source?

I want to believe but...

Dreams are fairly reliable recruiting sources at this time of year...

The Sanders recruiting Dean part came to me from LG1.

That they are commited to UGA came from multiple insiders.

Alabama insider on Rivals is predicting Sanders and Dean to UGA now. Says Dean is a UGA/Ole Miss battle.

Also saw a note this morning from a Miami insider, and it sounds like Tyrique Stevenson's mom really wants him at UGA, but that TS is feeling a draw to stay home at Miami.

TS can go play for CMR and possibly 1/4 Willie if he wants to never sniff the NFL.

Pulled this off DN's forum-good news!

Ford transfer rumor was shot down by Ford’s dad. He is homesick. Staff is giving him some extra time at home with family but he will come back and join the team for the bowl game.

Are you insinuating that Georgia did not have any players make the NFL while Richt was here?
Richt had a lot of problems, but that was not one of them.

Really good news, 3 reps! Thanks for sharing. I expect him to get a lot of playing time next year.

Stevenson is a DB, no?

I know plenty of players made the NFL from CMR teams.

Now...how many CMR/ Willie Martinez coached DB’s were in the league for more than a cup of coffee?

Sean Jones, Reshad Jones, Shawn Williams just off the top of my head. Does Ogletree count? Played safety at UGA but plays ILB in the league.

In case anyone was worried about Trezman Marshall, he just tweeted that he is 100% committed and will be signing with the Dawgs on Wednesday
