Not by you, but by him. He tweeted out an announcement that he's coming home, despite the fact that he's been committed to us for a long freaking time.

Because national writers keep trying to sell this shite about Nolan potentially flipping. He’s just shutting that shite down. Actually a huge deal for recruiting, that’s back to back #1s who have committed and not wavered

Trey Hill has trouble in shotgun?

That is what the coaches said. he has trouble snapping the ball. He was in at center one game when Gaillard was injured and had a bad snap.

Based on what? Two snaps against LSU?!?!

No, based on what the coaches have said and the snap at LSU.

Trey Hill Starts at Center next year.

Probably.

I guess that's a good point. I don't mind it, because people are going to talk about it and it's good press for us. I just find it funny when someone announces they aren't decommitting.

Webb doesn't want to play center early because of the demands of the position (blocking assignments, etc). He'll start off at guard. He may move to center down the road. That's how Kirby and Pittman recruited him.

I understand this, as a whole I agree. but if we need him to play center, you can rest assured the coaches will put him at center.

I don't anticipate this...just saying the obvious.

Sometimes it’s an attention grab but often times it’s also just an answer to people spreading rumors or a way to tell coaches to stop calling and bothering them

Agreed! He's the #1 center and he's well versed in the position. If the need is at center, I can't imagine he wouldn't play center. Maybe not right away, but very quickly.

Guys. Please stop picking 4-5 words out of a post and focusing on it.

I DO NOT ANTICIPATE HIM TO BE AT CENTER. However, if the coaches see a need, then they will not hesitate to put him there.

He don't play center in high school though. Its kinda like a high school QB rated as an athlete, wr or rb.

All of our OL crosstrain at multiple positions.

He will likely practice at guard and center, and will play whatever spot gets him on the field the fastest.

Thank you. This was what I was trying to say, but some posters wanted to focus on a few words and not take in the entire thought.

Clay Webb's commitment seemed to lock in all our 5*s. If the rankings don't drop Blaylock we're guaranteed at least four 5*s.

If we could snag him, that would be huge. It would completely take the sting away from losing Emery. However, I don't put much stock in tweets. Hopefully Dell can work some magic, because we're likely losing Holyfield and Swift next year, if Holyfield doesn't enter the draft this year. Who knows what Herrien is doing and White is coming off of two ACL tears. Hopefully he can stay healthy and make a full recovery.
