And Herrien isn’t a bad back. He would rival some other teams best starter. Over 5 yards a carry is nothing to sneeze at and he’s looked good this year. He’s the perfect third or 4th spell guy but he would never be the “man” here. You can tell coach Smart loves putting him in because he still gets prime carries in some situations I would rather have my stud in for but that’s a trust thing that he knows Herrien is a capable back. Would hate to lose him.

Absolutely. And, I don't remember him having security issues. Seems he protects the ball well. That's the one thing that has me a little concerned with Cook. One of his fumbles didn't count, but he dropped the ball twice against GT. Hopefully he uses that as a learning thing, but we can't afford him to do that against Alabama, so that has to be a concern for the coaches going into the SECCG and next year.

A&M ILB, commit, Christian Harris flipped to bama. It is hard to see this not improving our chances with Dean.

Kirby in home with Clay Webb tonight.

Is this confirmed?

Seems a little early, IMO.

Tim Watts said Harris has no bearing on Dean:

For those wondering, UA taking Harris has nothing to do with Dean or any bad feeling the Tide staff might have. In fact quite the opposite could be said with a source telling me tonight that Golding met with Dean tonight and the Tide continue to be in a good spot for his signature. It also doesn't affect Henry To'oto'o with UA prepared to take all three if they can get them.

I saw Pittman was there, but never saw a confirmation about Kirby.

Kirby didn’t go in home with anyone last night.

There is a small game this weekend. Head coach and coordinators aren’t on the road til Sunday. Haha.

I mean, Pittman being in home's as big for an OL prospect as Kirby IMO

Maybe, but having the HC there would obviously be a huge deal. Tide was just asking where we saw that, because he probably didn't believe it. He was in fact, correct.

Head coaches only get one in home.

Often times if the HC uses the in home early, it is a sign of desperation. Basically an attempt to generate momentum. Alternatively, prospects who are near locks may get an early in home as well.

If Kirby was going in home with Webb this week, it would be a bad sign IMO.

I love it. It’s like a nonstop roller coaster until NSD.

After that is the depressing time of year
