Yeah, just read that Texas wasn't ready to take a potential commitment from him and they didn't want to mislead him since he'd be paying his own dime to get to Austin this weekend.
Good news for us.

Hopefully we get a few this weekend. The list of attendees is nuts. Time to close.

Not really sure. With kids, some could always not show for different reasons.
Hill
Salyer
Fields
Jackson
Vann
Zeus
Parsons
Johnson
Dean
And some '19 kids.

I didn't know Fields committed to the KirbyQue.

That's a nice list. If no one pops lets hope this same group don't show up nowhere else together.

If that whole group pops Kirby is a God.

Justin Fields and his father left Auburn after an overnight visit that began Thursday afternoon. The two stayed for the first portion of the QB camp Friday morning (Fields didn't throw) before leaving. Fields did not do any interviews.
I spoke to someone who was with Fields during the visit. The source said the visit went very well, that Fields hung out with several players, and most importantly, got even more comfortable on campus than he was when he arrived.
Also, the visit was very big for Fields' father, who will play a major role in Fields' decision. The father and son spent time Thursday night with Gus and Kristi Malzahn and Chip and Cecily Lindsey, as well as several players.
Overall, the visit went as well as Auburn could have hoped.
How well?
According to another source with knowledge of the situation, Fields said that Auburn, "Just feels like home." The source also indicated that Auburn is the big leader for Fields, and that Fields has informed one other school that it "would take a lot" to change that.

Isn't that from a couple of notorious homers on AU's Rivals site? Supposedly there was a recent report from AU's 247 site that almost the complete opposite of that.

The Auburn guy on the Dawgnation podcast did not seem optimistic about Auburn.

Yeah, and it closed by saying he should be on Barn Commit Watch in the next month.
Whatever.
ETA - The commitment watch comment was for 4* WR Matthew Hill

There are several more.
Glad Cook waited until next weekend. Hope we land him to go with Zeus.

Rusty just put his CB in for Ezzard to head to FSU...

What do y'all think our chances are with him? Seems like Auburn is his favorite right now but Kirby does know how to pull.

If Auburn is his favorite right now, it's only because he was literally just there. Reassess on Sunday

I think we are in a good spot.
Not just because certain folks are saying it either, but I just think he's already made up his mind. His Mom would be with him if not. The family is very comfortable with Athens. Just my opinion.
He puts us in the conversation for a few recruits as well if he comes... Parsons, Ford, etc.

I just don't want him to go to AU or UF, I could live with FSU.

4* OLB/DE Caleb Tannor tweets his top 2 is AU and UGA, trimmed UF, UTk and LSU off his list. Wouldn't be surprised if he announces before the month is up.
