Would y'all rather get Fields and have Corral goto Florida or get Corral and have Fields goto Florida State.

Get Fields. I don't care who UF or anybody we play gets as long as we get everyone we want.
Stack the deck, homie.

Hard to say, but if we don't get Fields, there is a good chance he goes to Auburn.

I don't think he's going to AU.
I think it's UGA or FSU, but I got to say watching the chemistry he has with Sherman (WR/PSU) already, makes you wonder if PSU gets back in the mix good again.

With these the only options , I would have to say probably Corral with Feilds at State.
And to be honest Corral maybe a little better fit for the current O scheme. Feilds is absolutely dynamic and has a great arm, but is still developing his pocket presence, Corral is a little more polished in that area. Fields though is on a very steep projection to becoming a great pro style QB to go along with all his DT tools. 4 yrs fr M now he could be the best QB in college.
Really hate for UGA to miss again after Cam and DW.

Which I hope is not clouding our judgement and desire for Fields.

Watson was actually very polished from working with the Falcons QB coach many times at Flowery Branch before he got the starting job at G'vill High

Fields really liked PSU but it's extremely expensive for his entire family to travel up there for games, so he decommitted. That's the reason that location is sobbing for him; he wants his family to be able to attend all of his games. I don't see him going anywhere that doesn't at least border the state of Georgia.
At the Opening several writers have said he put on the best performance any of them have ever seen at an event with that much national talent. Give me Fields all day, everyday and twice on Sunday. I think Corral is a great QB who will be a good college player and, if he has all the right pieces around him, could win a title at the right place. Fields is a program-changing QB like Newton or Watson or Tebow (with a better arm). If we land Fields then I will be absolutely shocked if we don't win or at least play in a national title game. He's dynamic.

The opening is a over hyped IMO. They do a good job of assembling quarterbacks with great physical attributes, but being a great quarterback at higher levels depends on so many factors that aren't tested well in that environment. It's a fun competition, but predictions based on that kind of event are just as uncertain as from any other set of tea leaves people use to rate recruits.

We picked up some more CB's over the past few days...we are now at 64% for Tyreke Johnson, 100% for Azeez Ojulari, and as mentioned previously we have gotten a flip prediction for James Cook. I believe Ezzard is the next to announce on July 8th and we are CB'd at 100% for him currently.

I don't disagree, but you combine the arm strength and accuracy he showed up there with the athleticism on his tape, as well as a 6'3" 221 lb frame, and the kid has everything you can ask for.
Oh yeah, and he's apparently pretty smart and comes from a good, stable family situation.

FSU is pushing hard for Ezzard right now. I think he picks the good guys, but you can't rule them out. Ezzard, Van, and Jackson at WR would be a very nice WR group.

Yeah let's just hope the picks don't flip at the last minute a-la Wynn.
If we can somehow reel in Fields we will be in goooood shape for loads of these other top recruits.

Ezzard is the key to getting Brenton Cox attention. I think Vann and Jackson are much better WR prospects, but SCAR has a slight lead for Vann and Jackson is not a UGA lock. Kearis is still high on Auburn and may look at FSU if Fields ends up there. We need to get Ezzard on board for PR if anything. FTR, I think Ezzard will be a good player but he'll get a look at DB

Cook just decommitted from FSU.

Vann has gone back and forth swapping USC and UGA as leaders for quite some time. 247 said a day or two ago that UGA is in much better shape than he has been letting on, which leads me to believe he knows where he wants to go. Kid will be hell at slot wherever he ends up.

Big news from Cook. He told Dawgnation he'll make a final decision in December, but UGA has to like where they're at right now. They've sold him on being the next Sony Michel, apart of Thunder and Lightening with Zeus. Crazy to think, if UGA lands Cook, this might be the best tandem we've ever landed. Crazy when you consider recent history
