Gotcha. Carry on with facetiousness, djs

Corral is apparently lighting it up at the opening.

And Trey Hill has murdered 3 people by pancake.

Kings issue was all off the field and in his mind,
This is absolutely 100% true. he ahd the talent, but didn't want it. He had too many distractions off field to dedicate himself to football. A total waste of talent.

We have done a good job of hiding swift from cook. Once he finds out about him, he is gonna be pissed.
I was thinking the same thing. I saw an article in which Cook was saying once Chubb and Michel was gone it would be wide open and it would be Zeus and Cook....never gave Herrien and Swift a second thought. If we pull both Cook and Zeus, I can't help but think somebody will get a red shirt. Maybe not, though.

Wut? How do you hide the #4 overall RB that we signed not even 5 months ago? It's not liek Cook doesn't hve internet access to look up our depth chart. Hell, it's not like he hasn't watched a very successful older brother go through the same process. If Cook chooses UGA, it's not because we "hid" Swift from him
He doesn't seem to be considering Swift...I think that was his point. We aren't telling him he will be battling it out with Swift, and we shouldn't be promoting the competition. But we certainly aren't pointing it out, either.
And that's without mentioning Holyfield.

You don't redshirt 5* RBs.

From the opening today...
Fields vs Lawrence went to Fields..
Fields: 17-for-24, 3 TD, 0 INT
Lawrence: 18-for-31, 0 TD, 2 INT

KM didn't quite live up to the 5-star billing
He did his Freshman year, than tore his ACL less than halfway into his Sophomore year and struggled with injuries after that. I think you're being a little unfair to Keith.

Marshall was good as a frosh but he never had 5 star ability. Didn't have the balance or power. There is a reason Gurley got all the carries vs uf and Bama in 2012.
Posted on 7/3/17 at 4:05 am to djsdawg
Maybe cause Gurley was a once every decade type of talent? Marshall definitely showed five star ability pre-injury. He had 8 TD's and 759 yards on only 117 carries as a true freshman.

Which is why I don't expect Cook to come to Georgia. I hope I'm wrong. You can never have too many RB's, but we would have Holyfield, Swift, Herrien, White and Cook.
Holyfield and Herrien were not 5* but they will be Juniors. If we do get Cook, I would think we lose Holyfield to transfer.

Have you seen what Cook as said about UGA?
And the biggest thing with us is that none of those guys post-Chubb/Michel are proven. Cook could come in right away and play in a system that uses multiple backs very well.
The biggest issue with FSU is they might just ride Cam Akers and Cook wouldn't see serious action until his Junior Year.

I don't think Kirby has been shy about saying "best guy plays." If you come to practice and make the coaches believe you give the team the best chance to win, you're playing that Saturday. Period.

I really hope we can land Feilds. Corral is great to, but California qbs are really hit and miss. Strong arm though.
I think once the season shakes out these 2 will be ranked higher than TL. Something about him makes me think bust.

A couple of unnamed high school coaches I know have told me that TL is extremely laid back, to the point that he really doesn't care about football.
That could play out as:
1. Apathy prevents his development and he "busts"
2. Generational talent has carried him this far and he turns it on in college and lives up to the billing.
Hard for me to say one way or the other.
*Like any rumor talk, I take all that with a grain of salt, but it is at least consistent with the (limited) things I've seen from him

I think this is your UGA bias talking. I haven't seen anything from Lawrence so far that doesn't say top 10 pick.

FWIW I've heard the exact same about Eason. Call it "Stephen Garcia syndrome" if you will.
