If we land Campbell , he lives up to the bill, and Deandre Baker continues to ball like he did this last year we will be fine. I am going out there to say that Lecounte will be an upgrade over DS and our DL will be improve overall thus helping our loss of RS. Can’t wait to meet back up with Bama in December in the battle of the Benz.

The thing that made Roquan great is his ability to diagnose plays. He reads screens and swing passes like a boss. He's going to be missed. No way to sugar coat it.

Without a doubt. Always composed and he just anticipates and takes great angles. By just playing, he recruited for us.... Very well

ITS didn't cancel his UGA visit, he's just rescheduling it and now visiting Bama during the original UGA visit date...at least that's what it says on his Twitter page

I have to interpret that as "follow the visits", all the same.

Although if we get the last visit before NSD, it would be huge.

We will both have to recruit and wait for the outcome!

What is the news on this past weekend?

Read we are closer to Sandidge than many think, but will probably still go to South Carolina.

Campbell
Davis
Walthour
Bush
Walker
most likely finish, but are keeping Reese very close.

Walthour struggling a bit with grades, but expected to be okay. He is very close to being where he needs to be grade wise. Apparently put in a lot of work academically and has shown good improvement.

Who's was Tucker out visiting in Texas?? Looks like Kirby is trying to make sure our secondary is no longer a weakness.

Leon O'Neal Jr.

“I love Georgia, I have been rocking with them for a while,” he said.”I have not heard from them in a minute, but I don’t blame them, they are in a championship run, I mean the recruiting process for them is kind of in a pause because they are recruiting by just playing on TV in these big games. I know they have a lot of stuff going on."

With the season over it did not take long for UGA staff to get out to see him.'

He is 6-1 180 as a Jr in high school. This is the kind of size we need. By the time he hits the college field he could easily be 6’3 210.

That size is the biggest thing we were missing on defense this year. Kirby is an animal. Truly has a blue collar work ethic.

Do we actually have a shot at this kid so late in the process?

Are you talking about O'Neal LINK? If so... he's a 2018 recruit. Not sure where the "Jr in high school" comments are coming from.

I was wondering about that, too. My guess is he is thinking the size stats were put on his profile before his senior year and not updated? I'm not sure how often they update that stuff, so I didn't say anything.

I don't see how we have room, unless Campbell does not come here. We are more looking for a CB, than a safety. (Maybe he can play both?)

People are getting confused because his name is Leon O’Neal Jr.

I assumed he was 2019. Really confused why we would jump in on a kid with such limited room when we have already identified our main targets and we fee goo about them and their back up plans.

I’ve really just assumed that we are kinda done targeting kids for this class and assumed this kid was a ‘19 Recruit. Kirby has a plan so there is no need to assume.

I would look at O'Neal as an alternate for the Walker/Reese spot in all likelihood. Alternatively, if for some reason we believe Walthour isn't going to qualify, then there may be one extra spot...

Assume Davis is locked down per his comments which puts us with 4 spots...

DT - Walthour - exceptions: 1) Sandidge wants to commit 2) grades/test scores are a concern... potentially could look to pull a Wyatt-esque move and place him somewhere but not sign him if qualification is a key risk.

CB - Campbell - given that we let Wildgoose walk and ITS is shifting visits around, along with reports from Miami insiders that he let them know he wasn't coming, would have to think there is a strong chance we land him.

LB/S - Quay Walker probably the preferred target here, but Otis Reese and Leon O'Neal are candidates for this slot as well.

WR - Bush... pretty sure he's a take no matter what at this point...

Mash, so are we saying Quay is likely gone?

Americus, what’s the latest on Quay Walker? Thought we were feeling good about him.
