Kirby has also said Isaac and the other TEs would actually get the ball thrown to them if they would get open but they’re not open the majority of the time. Took that both as a DCs are making sure to take that safety valve away from Fromm and Nauta isn’t doing what he needs to do to either learn or execute good routes when needed

Makes sense. Fromm would prob love to go to IN so the defense is keying in him but he’s athletic enough to get open.

Teams know Brady is throwing to Gronk but he gets open anyway. Hoping we can get some more TE action

We don’t really have a great need at TE though. I mean the kid is huge and there is always a need but we really could use another DT, more DB’s, and more receivers.

I was thinking more Orson Charles and Arthur Lynch. Bennett was a straight up WR.

I think it is just physical man coverage that we are facing. With extra defenders focusing on the run, there is more of a need for the defense to play man coverage. If they choose to play tight, then we need slower developing patterns to get them space. And we aren't putting that type of pressure on our OL and our young QB right now. We don't want him holding the ball too long... yet.

Bennett was Tony gonzalez. If you got the ball near him, he was bringing it in. It didn't matter if a defender was draped on him. Or if the defender had an arm in the way. Bennett was as clutch as it got without having to go javon wims and jump through the roof to get the ball.
