A lot of folks have been saying that this fall. Never heard specifics of what he did to raise those concerns, but people were claiming he dropped on a lot of boards.

When you're on a visit to a school you don't start bashing the starting qb and head coach at the school you're visiting. He did that while at OSU.

Vols haven’t posted on their recruiting thread since October 17. Yikes.

I think they gave up on recruiting until Butch's replacement got hired

Didn’t remember seeing that.

Definitely not a good sign.

Entire offensive staff visited Fields tonight for all those concerned.

For what reason? Just a damn good visit or did Fields want to talk to them about something?

I haven’t been following recruiting as much as I used to, so I. Am really trying to get caught up. I am as impressed as hell with our class of nothing changes. I read an article talking about us potentially having 3 guys committ on 12/20. Do we get all 3 ? Mays, Salayer, and Henry? That would be huge. We heed as many big uglies and pass rushers we can sign.

I don't know if PArsons would be a hard pass. He's too good to let walk.

I think if we continue to recruit the way we are, and stock pile depth, then you can pass on a talent because his off the field issues would have more of an impact on the team than his on the field play.

Just IMO.

If that shite happens and we lose Eason... I wonder if that's why ALL the staff went to see him.

That’s what I was wondering too. We haven’t had any offensive guys leave and McGee is still on board. This seems like only smoke imo.

I still wonder if Fields is questioning whether he’ll have to sit behind Fromm for three years, where he’ll play right away at other places. Nobody wants to hear that or think about that, but it has to at least be a question. That is what other coaches are telling him. I hope he sticks.

I think Fields will stick, but you never know. I agree that Eason transfers either way. We will probably get that announcement right after Bowl season. I don’t think anyone with his ability is going to stay a back up anywhere

Dude would wreck shop at Washington. I don't think that Petersen had ever had someone with his skill set.

Kirby has shown time and Time again, the best will play. If fields comes in and shows out, he will start...Kirby has preached that and has shown it on the field.

What is in our favor:
1) Fields has already stated he didn't mind red-shirting
2)he wanted to stay close to home
3)his sister is coming to UGA
4)he is actively recruiting for us
5)Dell is still on staff
6)Kirby has yet to lose any major recruiting battle that wasnt already lost. (ie... last year with Aubrey Soloman)
7) We just won the SEC and could win the natty

What is against us:
1) Fromm looks like a 4 year starter
2) The 'Newness' of coaching hires intrigues everyone, including recruits.

But he didn't go to Jimbo at FSU...why the frick would he move even further away to play for him at a even shittier football program? It is laughable. If fields flip it would be a legendary thing
