Not us.
I haven't seen Jamarr Chase mentioned by any of our sites in over a year.

Christian Barmore released a Top 5 tonight:

"My top five is Alabama, Georgia, Florida Gators, LSU and Maryland," Barmore said. "Those are it. One of those schools will be one of the schools I commit to."

I think TCU is a big player for him.

LSU or UGA, imo.
He and Aaron Brule likely play together

I assume that means depth will and location will play a roll here. I could see Bama being in the drivers seat here but would love to have him or Robert Cooper.

He's only played one year of football. He's not coming in and starting anywhere on the DL in all likelihood. Depth might actually be good for him. Keep some more seasoned, elite recruits away and chance for him to shine in year two/three.

It looks like Cade Mays, the five-star OT who has been committed to Tennessee for quite some time, will be on campus in Athens next weekend.

Chase is gonna be an LSU battle no doubt.
Mays would be an amazing steal from UT considering he's legacy

If Cooper wants to come, we will make room for him.

I don't think so, not if things pan out how we want.

I would be shocked if we told Cooper he couldn't come.
I am not saying I am right and you are wrong....it's just my opinion, that you do not tell a player like Cooper we don't have room. You make room one way or the other.

We only have one more DL spot available and I think Trout and Barmore have priority. The days of having a Mt. Cody or John Jenkins in the middle of the line are probably over.

I said this earlier, but I'm not sure how much Cooper could actually help at his size. It isn't 1995 anymore. No one huddles, so you need guys that can play every down.

We're all of that thinking, but there's not going to be room for some. It's a good thing

You might be right, but Kirby seems to be of a mind to have such depth that we will play one guy the first down or two, and then bringing a smaller/lighter guy on third down. Seems to like rotating players so much that nobody needs to play every down. I don't think Kirby necessarily wants players that can play every down. Very few offenses do not substitute for long periods of times.. 2-3 plays tops, then they bring in fresh players. We are in an era of specialized players, and I think it will continue.

Most definitely right! And, I will trust Kirby as long as he is winning at this level. I love the depth that we have, and kids want to play here. We are a school, similar to Alabama in that kids WANT to come here, instead of they come here because Alabama doesn't have room.
