I'll worry on signing day. We're in on 3-5 five star prospects for the time being.

Gotta stack top 5 classes on top of each other to get to the level of the elites. Don't know what the disconnect is this cycle but is concerning.

Need Fields to commit soon in a bad way to get some momentum back on our side:

At least before the first game. If Fields commits we will be on our way. If not, it's gonna take some real good luck to land the class Kirby wants.

Easy, they want to see results on the field. That's why the biggest prospects who we are so sure we are going to get haven't committed yet. (Fields, Salyer, Hill, etc...)

results on the field did not affect last years class obviously, so that makes me think that is not the only factor at play. obviously a good year will help, but a lackluster year last year didnt hurt us.

Most new coaches get a bye from recruits the first cycle.

Are you not counting 2016 as his?

I've said this before, but UGA is in a pretty unique position of having a pretty daunting depth chart at most positions without the recent winning to overcome that.

He had two months to keep a class together/get his guys. On top of that no one had seen him coach a game. Definitely wasn't his 1st full class.

After year 1 recruits want to help build the future/start the change. Year 2 most want to see some sort of good results.

Justin Fields hanging out with DGD Terrence Edwards today

It was good meeting @justnfields tonight. Whatever university he picks, he's going to change the game. #GoDawgs

FWIW "change the game" is Coley's signature phrase, might mean nothing though.

Also, Justin took the time to take a picture with some OL who must be a big fan of his, really nice of him to do that.

Salyer is huge. Our line in a few years will be sick.

Assuming Salyer picks UGA. He is making an official visit for Notre Dame/UGA game. The ND fans are freaking out right now, but they don't realize this is an opportunity to watch UGA and former teammates Thomas/Blount.

Just picked up about 6 CB's for Kearis Jackson in the last day and a half.

He's still 100% to the good guys with 18 predictions now.

Not trying to be a dick... but what's special about a 5-11 receiver? Is it too hard to find the 6-3 / 6-4 guys?
