You are not trolling. Seems like one of our posters had a question about USCe and you responded with info that you had. I don't see the problem personally.

We also made KJ Henry's newly released Top 5...
I think his recruitment is going to get shady real quick. Here's a snippet from an interview he did with Rivals last night:
quote:
On the role his dad is playing in the process- “I think half of my dad is still making sure that I'm looking at the big picture, doing my research, and making sure I'll get a good education and get to the next level,” Henry said. “The other half is making sure that I'm making the right decisions as an 18-year-old and building that trust. As far as the recruiting process goes, he's protecting me and making sure nothing crazy is happening but at the same time he is making sure that I see this for myself and trying not to get played while making smart decisions.
“Honestly I haven't really thought about playing with my dad but he told me a long time ago, and we’re on the same page, the first priority is what makes me happy,” he said. “He's my father and I've been blessed to have him in my life. I'm just going to have to do what makes me happy. I'm not planning on transferring to play with my dad. That's not my goal. Once I get to a school, I plan on staying. I know coaches can go anywhere at any time. It would be cool if he ended up at the same school I'm at.
“If a school wants to try to hire my dad to try to get me then that's fine,” said Henry. “There is nothing wrong with that. They're going by the rules. That would take a school's probability of me going there up. I've made it very clear to everybody that I would love to play for my dad. We've had this conversation. If one of these schools in my top five does try to hire him, these colleges know that we are not a package deal. It's not a guarantee. It's still my decision but it would definitely play into any school's hands if they ended up hiring my dad.”

Let him go to Clemson then so we'll never have to see him on the field.

It's interesting that he would just come out and say that. Makes you wonder if dad is pulling the strings behind that quote even.

I go to church with the Henry's. They are actually a very wholesome family!! Parents are level headed and kids are smart and well taught. KJ plays at my former HS and for my former HC. IMHO I don't think his dad would allow him to play for him. His dad is however very integral in the recruitment, but in a smart way. Do not sleep on his mom's love for UGA. Clemson I think right now is in the lead with UGA and BAMA tied for second but things could change quickly. KJ will be a force in college I just don't think immediately though. I will continue to give updates as I hear them.

We got a new CB for Adam Anderson from an LSU Insider (Shea Dixon)

Anyone else notice the gators are crushing it on the trail. It seems like shark fricker is on some uppers, finally getting to work on this recruiting thing.

Yes, their class really took off after Corral committed...

Trey Dean has committed to UTk strangely enough.

That is weird. It's like he couldn't get in at Texas, UGA, and USCe so he lands at UT.

What a weird freaking recruitment.

I thought we were expecting a big July for recruiting. Doesn't seem like anything happened.
Posted on 8/2/17 at 11:00 pm to DawgMan21
I tend to be an optimist, so I'll point out the progress with the '19 class and call July a win. But yeah as far as '18 goes, pretty rough.

If we win 10 games and the East....they will come.
Our staff needs to focus on the season cause I believe that's where we will win over all these recruits we are in it for

Not that weird, IMO. I think it's a case of a recruit who looks good on paper and per the recruiting services hype, but many coaches see him as a backup plan. I watched Dean's videos a couple of weeks ago, when it seemed like he was having trouble finding a home. He doesn't look like a future SEC defensive back right now (could change later, who knows), and some coaches apparently had doubts too. Butch made a committable offer and he took it.

ButchWax is buying lottery tickets and grasping at straws to keep his shite show together. Doesn't surprise me that he'd go out on a limb for Dean. He'll be gone before the jury is in on this kid.

I don't get our class this year, or lack thereof. If we don't win games this year it could be the start of a period I'd rather not talk about.
