The coach said due to a grades issue. Seemingly Wyatt.

How much would Jackson help us with fields given that Aubie pulled that other receiver?

They're good friends so it doesn't hurt. Jackson has been a bit cryptic with recent quotes though, something to the effect that they have to make the decision that is best for them even if it means not playing together

Hopefully that's a deliberate red herring and we get them both.

Doesn't hurt. Just my guess, but I think Fields commits before Jackson.
Next couple might look like Cook, Tannor, Hill, Johnson, Fields, Jackson.
Sure would be nice lol

Haven't really looked at numbers but what would we take between this year and next at WR?

Between the two classes, I believe the number would be 6-7. There have been interviews with receivers we're looking at for this year, and they've said we're topping out at 3 this class. Ideally, I think we want Kearis Jackson, Marquez Ezzard, and Josh Vann. But there's been a lot of momentum for Ezzard to the Noles recently, so who knows. Other guys we were interested in were Terrell Perriman and Anthony Schwartz, but both are smaller, slot-type guys, similar to Vann, so I'm not sure how that would work.

Next year, we lose Chigbu, Godwin, and Stanley once the season ends, and with two already committed, we would be looking to take one more and IMO, it would probably be Jashawn Sheffield (isn't he Lecounte's cousin, but is favoring FSU) as the other guy we want. I think thats how the numbers stack up.

5-6
Ezzard is all FSU.
No clue on Vann.
Jackson and one more.
Try to add one more in '19.
We signed four last year.

Rumor is UGA told Ezzard no thanks a few weeks ago. He was set to commit but changed his plans and immediately turned to FSU. I think Brenton Cox may have cost Ezzard a spot on UGA. Kipp and Rusty are conviently avoiding the questions on 247.

How did Cox cost him his spot?

I guess UGA only wanted him if we have brought in Cox

I'm making an assumption. I think Ezzard's spot was dependent on Cox but I don't have any facts to back it up. All I know is Ezzard was set to commit, changed his plans within days of the announcement and took a renewed interest in FSU.

Also, Cox and UGA fans started battling it out on twitter. Some of those tweets were deleted but it was during the same time of Ezzard's proposed commitment date. I think UGA just said no thanks, we'll take our chances with Jackson and Vann. Again, no facts, but I get the feeling something went down with UGA and Ezzard.

I think so as well, but those topics rarely see the light, and they shouldn't. Hope he does well.
