That was pretty bad by Smith. Let the base runner get in his head, makes multiple meaningless throws over the first, and then grooves one that gets parked. He’s living waist high on all his pitches and if he doesn’t adjust, will get a quick exit.

ETA: Smith is done. Get him out of there.

Smith looks like he doesn’t care to be out there. This is the post season! Lets goooooooo!

In all fairness he always looks like that. Problem is he’s a strikeout pitcher: when he’s striking guys out, he gets in a zone and is very hard to beat. But when he’s missing his spots or leaving things over the middle, he’s as big a liability as you can put on the mound. With Troys top of the lineup being as nasty as it is, that’s a huge problem
