He grew up playing bball just helps to be that size I guess for football. He does need to hit weights a little harder but adding 15 to 20 lbs of muscle for a college program is easy.

This was posted on rant about what is going down in Gainesville. I'd kill it, they can turn things around faster than SMU.

They literally aren't getting any of their remaining targets and will be lucky to hang on to what they got. They got exposed in South Florida for cheating and now nobody wants to touch them.

Total disaster unfolding in that shite hole right now. Anyone and everyone is running. Nobody wants to be associated with them right now. Things are about to get very nasty with the NCAA. A recruit has a video of two UF assistants offering cash.

Going to get interesting. The Homestead staff banned UF from their campus. Now, a video has been provided to the NCAA showing exactly why. Could be a death penalty situation. No school has ever been busted for such a blatant violation.

Smh we probably didn't offer enough cash. This staff just doesn't get it man.

LOL, you offered plenty. The problem is, you offered it to a kid that doesn't play that game, and that kid and his school turned UF in. Everyone is finding out about this now, which is why everything is imploding.

I believe the Homestead coach went public about banning UF from campus on Twitter last week. The video isn't going to be made public. That's been sent directly to the NCAA. Kids are talking about it like crazy though. That's why Herbert committed to Miami. That's why Henderson is coming to Miami. That's why Edwards won't visit UF this weekend either and will sign with Miami.

Don't worry, the donkey will be gone within a week. Only problem is, no coach worth a damn is going to want to touch that program. Guys just got cavalier and sloppy

I'd pay good money to watch Gville burn.

Look at the coaches in the state of florida right now.

FSU- Jimbo
Miami- Richt
USF- Charlie Strong
FAU- Lane Kiffin

UF's in-state recruiting has gotten a frick ton tougher in the past year.

Slaton comes to mind, while technically not "poaching", most assume he's leaning there... worth considering particularly if we're worried about DT.

Otherwise, their top recruit (Zachary Carter SDE - .9382 rating 4*) would be our 10th best between enrolled and committed and really on par with the next 4 (all .93xx ratings). Otherwise, maybe Marco Wilson at CB? Don't know that we'd have room for another DB, particularly if Jamyest is likely to flip. Weird to say, but of what they have committed, I don't know that there's anyone we'd be gangbusters after.

You left out Butch Davis at FIU. Florida is going to cannibalize itself, which I guess is fitting for the home of "Florida Man"

UF blatantly handing out cash while failing to land a top 30 class would be absolutely hilarious.

UF assistants: "We'd really like you to wear orange and blue next year."

Commit: "I'll think about it coach, but honestly I think school x is a better fit for me."

*UF assistant slides a bag of m&m's and a $5 bill across the table*

UF assistant: How bout dah?

The rumored tweed can from the supposed HC at Homestead High, A.B. Ward. Only Problem is that Milo Lewis is actually the HC.

Even if it's nothing, if the NCAA starts sniffing it takes them forever to get to a verdict right away so it would steer kids away from UF.

Per our discussion in the other thread, this Homestead is in California.

Correct Homestead *Senior* High is in Dade County FL. Ahmad (A.B.) Ward is the head coach.

It doesn't help though that he's deleted his Twitter account, likely due to a barrage of shitposting, but the Fanbuzz article still has the quoted text assuming it's accurate:
fanbuzz.com/story/florida-assistant-coach-banned-homestead-senior-high/

SDS took their article down but they originally had one and the twitter post referencing it is still out there.

Whatever it is, it's great timing for us if we were going to put the push on Slaton and/or make sure that Wyatt doesn't really give them much of a look.

You would think the Homestead head coach would say it's not true if it didn't happen

Or some other coach has planted a story out there and it's caught wildfire which is a brilliant but unethical move (although there are no ethics in recruiting)

Sh*t! I like Mark Webb. Come on Smart, don't lose the guys we already have committed. We need receivers, and he is Swift's cousin.
