Clearly it hasn't been said publicly. I'd just be surprised if there hadn't been some assurances made behind the scenes.

I just don't wanna go into August like last year with no idea who's kicking like last year. A PWO kickoff specialist is fairly easy to find vs. a clutch PK'er...

I agree that those are not indicators....and I misspoke, probably, when I said I was holding out hope for him. He really isn't the size we have been after for awhile, and that has always thrown a major red flag for me.

With the obvious exception of his questionable senior year, we as a fanbase got spoiled by Blair Walsh's reliability. What was his record - 120+ consecutive PATs?

Just from reading the AJC article where his Dad said they might have to look around since he's not on scholarship and it's causing a hardship on the family...

Is that the old story from mid-season? It wouldn't shock me if the issue was settled behind the scenes, and Kirby also took the opportunity to encourage Daddy Specs to keep that shite behind closed doors.

I think he his from Athens or really close as well.
Rumor is that his dad wants to get him out of Athens. There may be a rough crowd of friends that the dad wants some separation from his son.

Roundtree should stay at safety. Even with our recruits the safety and star positions are thinner than ILB. We need a strong tackler/hitter like him back there IMO. Plus I'm reading that Bishop is going to play corner.....

Sounds like Bishop is making plays at corner in the Army game practices. That would be a big development if he can be a player there

As was said on the previous page, this seems an awful lot like the Dad is trying to force UGA's hand. Does he deserve one? Sure. But as we all know, trying to call out the boss isn't a great way to get things done...
