Sounds like Wilson is dominating at UAAA today, per Twitter.

We have a household name at OT, too.

From 2011 to 2015, we signed ONE top 100 OL. Last year (props to Richt for the assist), we landed another in Cleveland. We will have 3 in this class and at least 2 in the next class (Wray and Salyer). That is 6 in a 3 year span as opposed to 5 over a 10 year span for Richt. OL recruiting is definitely headed in the right direction.

you know your shite when it comes to OL...what do you think of Demery? I know he's pretty highly ranked but doesnt' it seem like the word on him is EXTREMELY raw? Is he a guy that will make any noise prior to his 3rd year in the program?

I assume you mean Wilson? He was mauling and pancaked Markaviest Bryant, someone we want very badly. I'd love to see Isaiah Wilson vs. Marvin Wilson..MW is a monster on the DL.

Edit: Hullabaloo beat me too it..

A lot of OL who don't come out of those football factory programs come out very raw. They're either used out of position due to their athletic ability or their coaching is subpar, and I think Demery is one of those guys. Haven't seen enough film on him, but I think I've heard from analysts that he projects best at guard. I like his build, though.

Freak athletes in a lot of cases end up not learning good technique due to their talent differential. Also, there are an unfortunate amount of bad coaches at the youth level who don't do right by the kids.

I wouldn't call that subpar coaching. They played him where they needed him most.

Cleveland on the other hand. How is he not a two way player for four years.

Sorry, I typed that last message kind of quickly. I didn't mean that playing an athletic kid at a position that helps the team but might not be the position with the highest ceiling for that player. When I mentioned subpar coaching, I meant actual bad coaching at that position. My cousin coaches OL at a HS and never played a down of football; after talking to him about it at Thanksgiving, I'd move my kid out of that school if I thought he had a future at OL. Those kind of coaches are out there.

He's the kind of man on the line that can help win ballgames. Seriously needed this kind of tackle for years. Hope we can hold onto him.
