If we pull both Warner and McBride we'll be ok without Rice. But Rice will be a good one IMO

That is very interesting. Should we take this as he was so blown away by Athens he couldn't wait any longer to commit? That's what I'll choose to believe.

That, or him and parents did the due diligence necessary in Athens and are ready to go ahead and announce to UM. Of course I would prefer the former.
Another interesting thought...we all know Kirby is a maestro when it comes to kids announcing. We've had guys be silently committed for MONTHS but not go public until Kirby wanted. We also saw this summer that we lost out a recruiting battle for someone (no idea who it was anymore) and Kirby had a silent commit go public the same day to ease the sting.
With us losing out on Rice today...maybe Kirby decided to go ahead and have IW go public to get some good momentum back on our side?

Probably going to end up regretting it but after seeing this I'm starting to believe it...
Please take this FWIW!!.... but my friend's coworker's girlfriend,who works in the football offices, told him that Wilson committed to Pittman on Sunday night.
I don't usually post the rumors I hear but he seemed pretty confident and after losing out on Rice I thought we needed some more kool aid around here.

I was just coming here to say this exact same thing. If we could have either Rice or Wilson, give me Wilson every time.

I think the odds of ANY of these being true are like 5%. Regarding the whole Kirby telling kids when to commit thing - hasn't it already been debunked?

We made a valiant effort to get Wilson, with so many of our commits coming up to help out and it seemed like the parents of some of those guys were pretty involved too, trying to help Wilson and his fam feel at home. I hope it was enough but it still wouldn't surprise me at all if he goes with Michigan.

whats really off putting is that Michigan has 4 recruits this week, each one making their decision on a different day...1 wed, 1 thurs, Wilson on Fri and then another on Sunday.
He could be stirring momentum, but I dont think it is for us.
