This class promises to be a very, very good one. Props to CKS and staff.
Kirby's recruiting really well which is awesome. I'm excited to see how this class ends up.

Any chance of this class finishing at #1? I believe only Ohio State has a higher average ranking

Mitchell, Bennett, and Conley all came in the same class. Don't remember Bennett and Conley's star rankings but Mitchell was a 5*
Bennett was the previous class (2010). But he took a redshirt. So they all played their freshmen seasons together (2011).

Man, if we could build a cohesive reciever group like that again.
Granted, they were made better because Bennett and Conley had insanely good chemistry with Murray, but we haven't had that with the WR core since.

Probably 5% chance, Ohio state and Bama have a lot of big names left

I don't think so. I haven't run the calculator but I've seen people that have played around with the numbers see our ceiling at 2 if we close with everyone we realistically can.

Murray had a lot to do with that cohesiveness, and those guys all had clearly defined roles. Bennett was the tough slot WR, Mitchell was the alpha dog, and Conley was a great #2

We also have to make sure we maintain our current class. I know Texas is pursuing Toneil hard since Herman became the head coach.

Carter tweeted a picture today with Dell Mcgee visiting in home captioned "100% Dawg"
Him being an EE helps too, don't see us losing him.

Ohio State is taking a smaller class. (18-20, I believe)
I expect to pass them just because of numbers. I never expect to pass Alabama, though. It's possible, but not probable.

Bennett was so underrated. You could throw to him in traffic in the middle of the field and he would just make plays. Perfect 3rd down receiver.
Nauta has kind of played that role this year. I am hoping Woerner turns into something like that as well.

It seems just a matter of time before he flips, I hope we can hold off Bama for Gibbs.

Even if we didnt' get a single other committment (which obviously is not going to be reality) I'd be pretty pleased overall with this class outside of DL and OT. Dont' get me wrong I love Thomas but I'm still holding out hope for one of the big fish left out there, and keeping my fingers crossed for Solomon.
When it's all said and done this could be UGA's best signing class ever IMO. The '98 class is usually considered a front runner but I'd say this one would challenge it.

Per Jeff Sentel, Nate McBride will NOT be making his OV to UGA this weekend...doesn't say why

McBride has been virtually a UGA lock for like a year it seems like.
