It really depends on who his recruiter was and if he feels comfortable there. Some kids just feel comfortable in certain places and their staff does a good job of selling Auburn. I'm not saying Auburn is squeaky clean, because no program is, not even UGA, but recruiters are salesmen. Salesmen pitch what is good about their product and convince people to buy it. That is why there are people out there who bought a Daewoo.

Ya AU still recruiting as well as they are is baffling to me. Gus going into prob his last year...no continuity on Defense with coaches...coming off a shitty year....shitty college town....mediocre school.
I'm not seeing how any of that adds up to recruiting success.

To be fair to her, I don't blame her after the way some of our "fans" acted towards her and her son online after he signed with South Carolina.

Mike Bobo and the Colorado state staff put out a PSA on Twitter to fans basically saying "leave the recruiting to the coaching staff, please do not contact recruits via social media"

With the understanding that I could not be more excited about getting Eason on campus, I am going to play devil's advocate and point out a few negatives I see from him in that tape...basically what UF fans resorted to doing after it was clear he was sticking with us 
1) A lot of throws off his back foot. He was able to still make good throws since he has such a good arm, but I saw too many back foot throws from Lambert this year to trust them consistently.
2) I only saw a couple plays where he went through his progressions. I realize it is a highlight tape, but there was a lot of staring down one receiver until he got separation deep, and then bombing it.
3) I think the athleticism of SEC DBs will cause some growing pains. On the other hand, the athleticism of our WRs will offset that some.
The positives are easy - very accurate, puts it where only his guy can go get it, and an absolute cannon. I am excited to see how he grows as a QB once he gets on campus.

Nah,he just enhanced it...I knew a highly recruited DL in the 70's that had a Corvette parked in his driveway
and told it would be his to "use" if he signed his LOI with the 'Barn.
Funny,the guy ended up to going to UT...guess he got a better offer.

Stafford still does this. If you've got the arm it helps...or can help. Last year I saw Stafford throw a 40-50 yard bullet to CJ while literally running backwards for his life. Like nothing I've ever seen.

Yeah that was my first thought too. He does it so often and so glaringly at times that I feel like my mom could look at the tape and ask why he was doing it.

Yea,I cannot believe any of his HS coaches or any of the countless college coaches at the all the summer camps he attended never picked up on it.
