I agree with Clay being a possibility Crow...his comments to the AJC about leaving a 10% possibility open of flipping. He also is liking Big 12 schools because they throw the ball a lot and it will test how good of a DB you are.
Yeah I think Clay might be the one. “Oklahoma is still coming real hard,” Clay said. “So, just in case anything happens with Georgia, that could be a possibility". It sounds like he knows we might not take him so he needs to keep his options open.
Also 2017 target Nate McBride will miss this upcoming season after breaking his wrist in a car accident.

2017 WR commit Davonta Smith will be in Athens today. Per Rusty, Shyheim Carter is with him for the weekend.

Kyle Davis and Mecole Hardman took a trip to UTk together.. Their wr coach Azzani is a fricking problem. UTk's football complex is 5 minutes from my house. I'm own my way with the bag of money..

He is only a problem if they sign with UT. Right now, they are taking visits, which is what recruits do. They have been in Athens much more often than Knoxville.

What about Josh Malone and Preston Williams. Azzanni is one of the best recruiters in the conference and we should be a little worried with him going after two of our main WR targets.

Well, Malone was from Tennessee, and Preston was with UT long before we even offered him. Hardly similar situations.

Hope we land both of them. I just feel like UTk is a legit threat.

I would agree with that. They wouldnt be visiting UT again if they werent very interested.

UT and Auburn are both very much in it with Davis. Hardman is a fricking Dawg, though.

Jaleel Laguins announces Wed. & Dylan Singleton announces Fri... If all goes as expected it'll jump us up 3 spots into 5th in the 247 Composite...

Crit and Lake over on 247 are saying that Singleton might not be a take with the news about Carter. However, this would be foolish, in my opinion, because Warrior is not going to end up in Athens and Clay is seriously considering Oklahoma. Take Singleton, Take Carter, let Clay go to Norman, call it a day at DB.

Been hearing that for a while but the #24CB in the country & #22 player in the state has to be a take if he wants to come to Athens...

I think we'll take both and let the chips fall as they may.

Got a chance to check out 2017 RB Trey Sermon this weekend.
His team was pretty bad, but he's gonna be a good player. He reminds me a lot of Sony Michel, where he is sort-of a one-cut and to the house type of guy. He's pretty tall for a RB too, so he'll have plenty of frame to grow into a bigger guy, kind-of how Michel has done over this offseason.
Anybody else catch some recruits of note this past Friday?
I'm probably gonna head over to the Corky Kell stuff this weekend, or at least watch it on TV.
Football is back baby

Cartersville may be the only team on our regular season schedule that has any D1 guys. I did get to see Chubb his senior year and Big Ben in the first round last year.
