Not that I don't believe you, I know Mecole is a lean, but what makes you so sure.

Most analysts who have seen Woerner in person agree that he's a guy who would at least be pushing for a 5th star if he did ANY camps at all. He's a quiet kid who only really cares about his HS team right now so he does no camps and gets very little exposure. He's a rare talent, though.

And I said in this thread somewhere that he might be better than Godwin. He is crazy good. His dad was a baller, and so is he.

Yea, his film just screams "game changer". The kind of guy you could line up anywhere and he's a great matchup.

Also, how has Kyle Davis not gotten a 5th star?

He wants to play with Eason. Thats what will seal the deal. And yes, he is that good.

Davis ran a 4.62 at his latest camp. I don't see him getting a 5th star with that speed.

He's a 5 star on 247 and #1 rated receiver. Also that camp you're talking about he dominated the best players in the country and won mvp during 7 on 7.

latest from Trent Smallwood....

1) Charlie Woerner is no doubt a wanted man in Athens. Georgia coaches hung close to him and his family, and Charlie looked to be enjoying himself. Have talked to several people since Dawg Night, and one told me "I believe he will commit in next couple of weeks" and another told me "Georgia leads big". The Bulldogs are trending here and a commitment could come at any time from the big receiver.

2) Georgia has a legitimate shot at Rashan Gary, there is no doubt about that. We have not been able to get him on the phone yet, but from his actions alone, he was having a great time in Athens. His mother loves it, he loves it, and he was receiving a lot of attention from Rocker among others. Rochester and Tyler Clark were two that were glued to him most of the night, and Gary was enjoying every minute of it. Look for a story coming on Gary in next couple of days, but in my opinion, the Bulldogs are definitely in this one.

3) Mecole Hardman is one of the most explosive and dynamic athletes I have seen in this class. He has the speed, quickness, hands, and pretty much everything else you can think of. He spent most of the evening running reps with QB commit Jacob Eason, and the five-star was pushing for Hardman to commit. When Hardman commits, it is going to be a silent one......but right now, I do not see that commitment going to any other school besides Georgia.

4) Nate McBride named Alabama his leader on Friday, then Georgia evened the score on Saturday. This one is going to go down to the wire, and I don't see another team adding to the mix for the five-star. It will be a Alabama/Georgia battle for the next 19-monhts. To add to that, Georgia is a big time Vidalia community.

5) Coming into Dawg Night, I thought Georgia would take either Randrecous Davis OR Tyler Simmons. I did not think they would take both in this class, and with Davis taking that spot I believe Georgia will turn the attention to Robertson, Woerner and Davis for the last three spots. Binjimin Victor and Tyler Vaughns are also long shots. Davis showed me Saturday night that he deserved that spot, he was explosive in and out of his cuts, showed outstanding hands and caught the ball over the middle in traffic. The kid can play.....there is no doubt about that and he is a big get.

6) Offensive tackle is going to be a top priority in the class of 2017, and the Bulldogs have their eyes set on two good ones. Brunswick's D'antne Demery and Central Gwinnett's Tony Gray. Both of these young prospects are athletic tackles with excellent feel. Demery showed strong hands and an excellent base Saturday Night. Gray was on campus yesterday afternoon meeting one-on-one with Coach Rob Sale. At this time, I would predict both of these prospects to Georgia. Gray has Georgia/Tennessee on top, but loves Sale. Demery loves Georgia, and getting Dallas on board will only help with the Rivals250 OT.

7) Demetris Robertson was also a prospect that received the red carpet this past weekend by the Georgia staff, but it wasn't only the staff after him. At one time, I looked over and noticed Jacob Eason's father standing next to him, watching drills together. They stood together a good 15-20 minutes talking........also McClendon, Schotty and Richt stopped by to talk with him throughout the night. I say this again, Georgia sits in a very good position for Robertson at the time. It will be interesting to see if he ends up taking the Stanford trip this summer, but mother will have a big say-so in this before it's over.

8) At this point right now, I see Brian Burns and Xavier Kelly being the top two outside linebackers on Georgia's board. I believe Georgia will continue to recruit Jordan Smith, but don't believe he is a plan A target at this time.

9) I believe Jaleel Laguins will make his final decision in the next month, and I do not see any other school contending with Georgia at the moment.

Disagree with this one. Georgia needs 5. They can take 6 if they get those 3. Simmons still should be a take and he's been an obvious major target for Georgia for a few months.

Nate Mcbride basically says he Georgia is neck and neck with Bama but may have hinted at us having a slight edge according to our mods. He will be back for the Alabama game and really enjoyed his last visit. I think he ends up at Georgia but Bama is a player and always a threat.

This is a linebacker who runs track. He will be a 5 star.
